Akasa has launched the Euler CMX, a small, fanless Mini-ITX case built mainly for industrial PCs, embedded systems, and edge computing setups. This 4.0-liter aluminum chassis comes with a built-in 220W DC-to-DC power converter and supports Intel processors up to 35W TDP. It is designed for business and commercial environments where silent operation, long-term stability, and 24/7 reliability are essential.
The entire case is made from anodized black aluminum and works as its own cooling system. Instead of using fans, the case transfers heat from the CPU directly into the aluminum body. The heat then spreads out through the external fins, keeping the system cool without moving parts.
Since there are no fans, there is less risk of mechanical failure over time. This improves overall reliability and increases the system’s lifespan. It also reduces dust buildup, which is especially important in places like warehouses, factories, kiosks, and unattended retail systems.
The Euler CMX supports Mini-ITX motherboards with Intel LGA1851, LGA1700, LGA1200, and LGA115X sockets. It is compatible with Intel Core 8th to 14th generation processors, as well as newer Core Ultra models, as long as they stay within the 35W power limit.
This makes it suitable for Intel T-series CPUs and low-power Core Ultra processors that focus on efficiency. It is not designed for 65W or unlocked CPUs, highlighting that this case is meant for stable, low-power industrial use rather than high-performance desktop builds.
Akasa integrates a patented spring-loaded mounting system to ensure uniform pressure between the processor and the thermal block. In fanless systems, consistent contact is critical to sustained performance under load.
The company includes a dedicated heatsink and thermal pads for M.2 2280 SSDs, enabling a fully solid-state architecture. The chassis does not support 2.5-inch SATA drives, reducing vibration points and aligning with industrial reliability requirements.
Power delivery is handled internally through a 220W DC-to-DC converter capable of multi-rail output, including +3.3V, +5V, +5V standby, +12V, and -12V. The system accepts 12V DC input via a 4-pin DIN connector, a standard interface for industrial power environments. Built-in over-voltage and over-power protection circuits enhance operational safety, while support for ambient temperatures ranging from -25°C to 70°C underscores suitability for non-climate-controlled deployments.

Standard 24-pin ATX and 4+4-pin CPU power cables are included, and an optional 150W external 12V adapter is available for integrators assembling turnkey systems.
Measuring 248.6 × 205 × 78.5 mm with a total volume of 4.0 litres, the Euler CMX is engineered for space-constrained embedded installations. VESA and wall mounting support allow deployment behind displays, within cabinets, or mounted directly to structural surfaces. Compared with traditional fan-cooled Mini-ITX enclosures, the passive architecture eliminates airflow dependency, lowers acoustic output to zero, and reduces long-term maintenance requirements.

Front connectivity includes two USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports and two USB 2.0 Type-A ports, along with power and HDD LED indicators. The rear panel provides motherboard I/O access, dual antenna cut-outs for Wi-Fi modules, and a dedicated DIN power input.
Akasa lists the Euler CMX starting at £151.50, €159.00, or approximately $199 USD (exchange rates may vary), with availability across the UK, Europe, North America, and Asia.
The pricing places it competitively within the industrial Mini-ITX enclosure segment, particularly considering the integrated 220W DC-to-DC converter, which reduces the need for additional internal power modules. For system integrators and commercial builders, consolidating power delivery inside the chassis can simplify deployment logistics and improve long-term reliability in fixed installations.
