Lenovo has released the ThinkPad X14 (2026) in China, with a starting price of 9,499 yuan. The new model brings a higher-resolution OLED display and support for Magic Bay modular accessories.
The laptop comes with Intel Core Ultra processors, starting from the Ultra 5 338H and going up to the Ultra 9 388H, part of Intel’s latest Core Ultra lineup. It uses Intel Arc integrated graphics, with better performance on higher-end models. The base version includes 32GB RAM and a 1TB SSD, while higher versions offer more memory.
The 14-inch panel is available with a 2.8K OLED option. It runs at up to 120Hz with variable refresh between 30Hz and 120Hz. Peak brightness reaches 1000 nits, while typical brightness is rated at 500 nits. The panel covers 100% DCI-P3 color and carries TÜV low blue light certification.
The chassis uses carbon fiber materials and keeps the weight around 2.6 lbs (1.2 kg). Thickness is close to 15 mm, keeping it in the thin and light category.
Memory uses LPDDR5X-8533, while storage includes dual SSD slots for expansion.
A 74Wh battery is included, with Lenovo quoting usage between about 15.5 hours and 37 hours under different conditions.
Cooling is handled by a dual-fan setup, with total performance output rated around 45W.
Ports include two Thunderbolt 4 connections, two USB-A ports, and an HDMI output. An infrared camera supports facial recognition, and dual speakers are built in. It also comes with the latest Wi-Fi 7.

Magic Bay support allows external modules to attach to the system. One of the supported options adds 4G connectivity through a magnetic expansion module.
Earlier coverage of this modular system showed how it can extend functionality beyond standard laptop designs through the Lenovo ThinkBook modular AI PC. That concept aligns with the accessories now supported on the X14 (2026).
