An Italian retailer has opened GTA 6 preorders for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X ahead of Rockstar’s official global rollout, listing physical copies at €69.90 with a November 19, 2026 release date. The retailer, ShowGame based in Palermo, Italy, currently offers preorder pages for both console versions with release-day shipping and local store pickup options already active.
The €69.90 pricing immediately stands out because recent reports and community speculation had pointed toward a much higher launch price for Rockstar’s next open-world blockbuster. Over the past year, multiple major publishers pushed standard console game pricing closer to €79.99, while some analysts predicted GTA 6 could become the first major title to cross into the €90 range because of its enormous development budget and market demand discussed alongside PlayStation 6 expectations.
Instead, this early retailer listing places GTA 6 closer to traditional AAA pricing than many players expected. If Rockstar and Take-Two keep similar pricing across Europe and North America, the game could arrive cheaper than several recent first-party PlayStation and Nintendo releases despite being one of the most expensive video game productions ever created.
Now, official preorder pages are still missing from the PlayStation Store and Xbox storefronts, while recent hardware discussions around GeForce NOW continued highlighting growing interest in large gaming releases. The retailer currently accepts reservations for physical PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X copies alongside Klarna installment payment support.
The product pages confirm the November 19, 2026 release date previously referenced during Take-Two’s recent financial discussions. Company executives recently reaffirmed the current release window and indicated that another major delay is not expected.
ShowGame’s listings do not reveal new gameplay information or special editions, but the retailer descriptions reinforce Rockstar’s existing details surrounding the game. GTA 6 returns players to Vice City, Rockstar’s fictional version of Miami, while expanding beyond the city into larger surrounding regions and rural areas.
The story centers around Lucia and Jason, two protagonists pulled into a criminal conspiracy involving robberies, police pursuits, organized crime, and betrayals. Lucia becomes the first female lead character in a mainline Grand Theft Auto title, marking one of the biggest shifts in the franchise’s history since GTA 5 launched back in 2013.
Rockstar has remained unusually quiet about GTA 6 despite the game’s massive public attention. Outside of trailers and a limited amount of official information, many details surrounding gameplay mechanics, map scale, online features, and the eventual PC version still remain unconfirmed.

Even a small retailer listing has generated worldwide attention because of how enormous GTA 6 has already become ahead of launch. GTA 5 evolved into one of the highest-selling entertainment products ever created after releasing across three console generations while continuing to dominate online gaming more than a decade later.
The long gap between GTA 5 and GTA 6 has pushed expectations to extreme levels across the gaming industry. The title is already viewed as one of the most important releases of the current console generation and is expected to become a major showcase title for PlayStation 5 Pro hardware and next-generation PC GPUs including upcoming RTX 5090 laptops.
The current ShowGame listings remain limited to Italy for now, though broader preorder rollouts across Europe and North America likely are not far away.
