Gigabyte introduced the AERO X16 globally with AMD Ryzen AI processors, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 Laptop graphics, a 165Hz 16-inch display, and a 16.75mm chassis weighing around 1.9kg. The new model focuses on combining creator-grade hardware, AI acceleration, and gaming performance inside a thinner portable design instead of a heavier traditional gaming notebook.
The highest-end configuration pairs AMD’s Ryzen AI 9 465 processor with an RTX 5070 Laptop GPU carrying up to 85W Max TGP and 12GB GDDR7 memory. Gigabyte is preparing additional variants with RTX 5060 and RTX 5050 Laptop graphics alongside Ryzen AI and Ryzen 200-series processors across different configurations.
The laptop features a 16-inch IPS display with 2560 × 1600 resolution, 165Hz refresh rate, 16:10 aspect ratio, and brightness reaching 500 nits. Gigabyte lists 100% sRGB coverage together with Pantone validation and TÜV Rheinland low blue light certification.
Gigabyte pairs the display with slimmer four-sided bezels delivering a 92% screen-to-body ratio together with Adaptive Sync support.
The AERO X16 carries WINDFORCE Infinity cooling with dual 12V fans, four heat pipes, and Gigabyte’s “3D VortX” airflow design. Gigabyte rates cooling capacity at up to 100W and adds a quieter 0dB ambient cooling mode for lower-load operation.
From the memory side , it comes with up to 64GB DDR5 through dual SO-DIMM slots, while storage support extends up to 4TB PCIe NVMe SSD capacity through dual M.2 slots.

Gigabyte adds a MUX switch for direct GPU selection together with Microsoft Copilot+ functions such as Cocreator, Live Captions, and AI-assisted editing features. The laptop further carries Gigabyte’s GiMATE AI assistant for voice controls, hardware tuning, local AI image workflows, and coding-related functions connected with Visual Studio Code integration.
Battery capacity is 76Wh, with Gigabyte rating battery life at up to 14 hours. The laptop supports USB-C Power Delivery 3.0 charging together with fast charging support capable of reaching roughly 50% battery in around 30 minutes.
The AERO X16 carries HDMI 2.1, USB4 Type-C with DisplayPort 1.4 and Power Delivery support, multiple USB-A ports, RJ45 Ethernet, and a 3.5mm combo audio jack. Wireless connectivity covers Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3.


Gigabyte additionally pairs the laptop with Dolby Atmos audio, an FHD IR webcam supporting Windows Hello authentication, and a Golden Curve keyboard carrying 1.7mm key travel together with RGB backlighting.
The AERO X16 arrives in Lunar White and Space Gray finishes with anodized sandblasted textures and an iridescent NIL nameplate design. Gigabyte has confirmed global availability through authorized retailers, though final pricing still varies depending on region and hardware configuration.
