Epomaker has revealed its upcoming HE65 V2 TMR gaming keyboard during a recent livestream. The compact keyboard features TMR magnetic switches, a translucent design, and support for wired, 2.4GHz wireless, and Bluetooth connectivity. Based on what was shown, it looks like Epomaker is aiming to bring magnetic-switch technology to a more affordable price point.
Epomaker is a TMR technology to another keyboard with the new HE65 V2 TMR. The recently released HE75 V2, it uses TMR sensors instead of traditional Hall Effect technology. Gamers still get popular features such as adjustable key actuation, Rapid Trigger, and analog-style controls. TMR technology also uses less power, which can help the keyboard deliver better battery life when used wirelessly.
The HE65 V2 uses a compact 65% layout that takes up less desk space while keeping the most important keys. It does not include a function row or numpad, the keyboard still offers dedicated arrow keys, a three-key navigation cluster, and a programmable rotary knob on the right side for added convenience.
The HE65 V2 has a transparent-style design that gives it a different look from most gaming keyboards. Epomaker will offer the keyboard in smoky black and clear white versions, and the RGB lighting shines through the case and key caps for added visual appeal.
The white version with fully transparent keycaps featuring UV-printed legends, while the black version uses darker keycaps that still let RGB lighting shine through. Paired with south-facing per-key RGB lighting, both versions offer a clean and modern look, whether the lighting is turned on or off.
The HE65 V2 has three connection modes is a lot of contemporary gaming keyboards. Low-latency 2.4GHz wireless mode, Bluetooth, or USB-C can all be used to connect. The wireless functions are powered by an integrated 4,000mAh battery that enables prolonged use between charges.
A few practical features for daily use have also been added to Epomaker. Users can select a more comfortable typing position thanks to the keyboard’s two-stage adjustable feet. Additionally, it features an integrated storage space for the 2.4GHz wireless dongle, which facilitates carrying the keyboard without losing the receiver.

Epomaker has not announced pricing or a release date yet, but the keyboard appears to be aimed at gamers who want the benefits of magnetic switches without spending a premium price. With its compact layout, wireless connectivity, translucent design, and TMR technology, the HE65 V2 could appeal to both competitive gamers and keyboard fans looking for an alternative to the many Hall Effect keyboards currently available.
