Power supply manufacturer Seasonic has added the unannounced NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 SUPER graphics card to its online wattage calculator tool. The update also includes listings for other unreleased graphics card models like the RTX 5070 SUPER and RTX 5070 Ti SUPER. Attentive PC builders noticed the new additions while using the tool to estimate power requirements for upcoming hardware upgrades.
The calculator lists the unreleased RTX 5080 SUPER with a thermal design power rating of 415W. This represents a 15% increase in power draw compared to the standard, non-SUPER version of the card. While some readers were surprised by the power requirement, NVIDIA has not confirmed any official power specifications for these refresh cards.

The higher 415W power consumption rating aligns with recent industry rumors regarding the memory upgrades for the new Blackwell card. The RTX 5080 SUPER is rumored to have 24GB of high-speed GDDR7 VRAM, compared to the 16GB limit found on the base model. This extra memory capacity and wider bandwidth explain the higher power demand compared to the base model shown during NVIDIA’s 007 First Light promotion.
In addition to the memory updates, the new listings suggest that board partners are already planning custom models. Companies like Zotac are expected to launch specialized designs, similar to the customized Zotac RTX 5080 cards announced for recent product milestones. However, Seasonic has not shared any photos or physical dimensions for the listed hardware.
The appearance of the SUPER cards in the manufacturer’s wattage tool is a strong indicator that NVIDIA plans to release a refreshed graphics card lineup. Some industry analysts had previously suggested that the company canceled or delayed its Blackwell refresh plans. The early database entries from a major power partner suggest that the products remain on track for a future launch.
NVIDIA has not officially confirmed the existence of the RTX 5080 SUPER or its launch timeframe. PC builders will need to wait for an official press event to get verified pricing and release details. The graphics card is expected to arrive in global markets within the next year.
