ASUS ExpertCenter P700 Mini Tower With Ryzen AI 400 Launched

ASUS has introduced the ExpertCenter P700 Mini Tower (PM700MG), a new AI-ready enterprise desktop powered by AMD Ryzen AI 400 processors. Compact business systems in a similar category include devices such as the GMKtec NucBox K15 mini PC. The system is designed for business environments, creators, and professional workstations that require strong computing power, AI acceleration, and stable long-term performance.

The ASUS ExpertCenter P700 desktop supports up to 64GB of DDR5 memory and can be configured with an optional NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 graphics card. This enables the system to handle demanding workloads, including AI-assisted productivity tools, video editing, 3D rendering, and GPU-accelerated computing tasks.

The desktop is powered by AMD Ryzen AI 400 series processors, including the Ryzen AI 7 445 and Ryzen AI 5 430. Ryzen AI chips are also appearing in mobile workstations such as the TUXEDO InfinityBook Max 16.

These processors include a dedicated Neural Processing Unit (NPU) that delivers up to 50 TOPS of AI performance. This enables applications such as AI meeting tools, local generative AI features, and intelligent file search to run directly on the computer rather than relying heavily on cloud processing.

Processing AI workloads locally also improves responsiveness and reduces latency when using assistants, productivity tools, or data-analysis software.

ASUS designed the ExpertCenter P700 Mini Tower to remain compact while still allowing hardware upgrades. Small desktop systems like the GMKtec G3 Pro mini PC also focus on delivering workstation-level performance in compact designs.

The chassis measures approximately 296 × 155 × 347 mm, which makes it suitable for office environments and easy to place under desks without taking up much space.

Despite its compact design, the system supports up to 64GB of DDR5-5600 memory and multiple storage options. Users can install a PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSD for high-speed storage, while additional SATA hard drives can be added to increase capacity.

For users who need higher graphics performance, the desktop can be configured with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 discrete graphics card. Newer RTX 50-series mobile GPUs such as the RTX 5070 laptop GPU highlight how the architecture is expanding across different PC categories.

Entry-level models use integrated AMD Radeon graphics. These are suitable for everyday office work, productivity software, and web-based business applications.

The system uses copper heat pipes and a directed airflow design. The desktop uses copper heat pipes and an optimized airflow design that helps the processor maintain stable performance during long workloads while keeping fan noise relatively low.

The system includes USB-A, USB-C, HDMI, DisplayPort, and Ethernet connections. The front panel includes USB-A and USB-C ports, an audio jack, and an optional card reader. The rear panel provides HDMI, DisplayPort, Ethernet networking, and additional USB ports for connecting monitors, storage devices, and other peripherals.

The desktop includes TPM 2.0 hardware protection, BIOS recovery tools, and chassis security options to help protect sensitive business data and prevent unauthorized access.

ASUS also states that the ExpertCenter P700 Mini Tower meets MIL-STD-810H durability standards, which means the system has undergone testing to ensure reliability in demanding professional environments.

The system also includes ASUS MyExpert productivity software. This software provides AI-assisted collaboration tools, workflow utilities, and meeting features that help teams work more efficiently.

The ExpertCenter P700 enters a growing market of AI-ready enterprise desktops. It competes with business machines such as Dell OptiPlex workstations and HP EliteDesk desktops, which are also focusing on AI-accelerated productivity and workstation-level performance.

With AMD’s dedicated AI NPU and optional RTX graphics, the desktop can handle both traditional office workloads and newer AI-driven applications.

ASUS has not yet announced official pricing for the ExpertCenter P700 Mini Tower. Pricing will depend on the selected processor, memory capacity, storage configuration, and graphics options.

Based on previous ExpertCenter desktops and similar enterprise systems, entry-level configurations typically start at around $800 to $1,000. Higher-end versions with RTX graphics and larger memory capacity may cost $1,300 or more.

The release of machines like the P700 highlights the growing shift toward AI-ready PCs across the industry. Modern processors from AMD, Intel, and Qualcomm now integrate dedicated Neural Processing Units, enabling AI tasks to run directly on the device.

These capabilities are becoming increasingly important for features such as AI assistants, meeting transcription, generative tools, image processing, and data analysis, which benefit from local processing rather than relying entirely on cloud computing.
