Asus ProArt PX13 Debuts With Ryzen AI Max and Up to 128GB RAM

Asus has introduced the ProArt PX13, a compact 13-inch laptop built for creative work and AI-heavy tasks. It combines high memory capacity with a convertible design, aiming to deliver workstation-level performance in a smaller form factor, making it a strong option for professionals in the US market.

Creator laptops are now available in smaller form factors. The Lenovo ThinkPad P14s Gen 7 includes similar AI-focused hardware with support for high memory configurations.

It runs on AMD’s Ryzen AI Max 395 processor and is part of the Copilot+ PC category. The chip includes a built-in NPU rated at up to 50 TOPS, which is used for AI features, background processing, and certain creative workloads.

AMD is also working on newer CPU designs. Zen 6 focuses on changes to core layout and cache structure for future processors.

The ProArt PX13 supports up to 128GB of RAM, which is unusually high for a 13-inch device. This makes a noticeable difference when working with large files, 3D assets, or running multiple heavy applications at once. The system can also allocate memory for graphics when needed.

Integrated graphics are enough for basic work, but dedicated options like the RTX 50 Ultra series graphics cards handle heavier rendering and gaming tasks.

It features a 13.3-inch 3K OLED touchscreen with full DCI-P3 coverage and Pantone validation. The display is designed for color-sensitive work, and stylus support allows direct input for drawing or editing.

Accurate color panels are important for editing tasks. Systems listed under laptops for 3D modeling and rendering usually include higher-quality displays.

Asus has made this a 2-in-1 convertible laptop. You can use it as a normal laptop, fold it into a tablet, or use tent mode for presentations or media. Even with high-end specs, it stays lightweight at around 3.04 to 3.06 lb, making it easy to carry.

It offers up to 2TB SSD storage and includes modern ports like USB4 Type-C, HDMI 2.1, and a microSD card slot. The port selection covers most common use cases without relying heavily on adapters. It also supports Wi-Fi 7 and runs on Windows 11.

The laptop includes a 73Wh battery paired with a 200W charger, indicating that the focus is more on performance than ultra-long battery runtime.

There is also a special GoPro Edition, which includes extra tools and features for content creators who work with video and action cameras.

The PX13 stands out mainly because of its memory capacity. Most laptops in this size range are limited to much lower RAM configurations, but this model is clearly built for heavier creative workloads and AI-based applications that require more system memory.

The starting price is around $2,799, and it can go up to $2,999 for higher configurations. This clearly puts it in the premium category in the US market, especially among creator-focused laptops.

The ProArt PX13 is positioned as a compact alternative to larger creator laptops, especially for users who need high memory capacity in a smaller device.
