Dareu ULTRA 75 Brings Flip-Top Design, 8kHz Polling, 0.01mm Rapid Trigger

Dareu’s ULTRA 75 takes a different direction from typical mechanical keyboards. The 75% board uses a flip-top chassis that opens like a lid, exposing internal modules in seconds, paired with an 8kHz polling rate and magnetic switches tuned for fast input.

The top cover lifts and holds at multiple angles, turning the chassis into a tool-free access system for internal components. The design uses a contact module instead of traditional wiring, allowing parts to connect directly without cables. Covers and internal modules can be removed or swapped quickly, lowering the barrier for customization.

Dareu builds the ULTRA 75 around modular tuning. The keyboard supports eight combinations of feel and sound by changing internal modules. Tactile response ranges from bouncy to firm, while acoustics shift between louder HiFi output and quieter profiles. The concept centers on instant adjustment, where switching components changes both typing feel and sound without replacing the full switch set.

On the performance side, the keyboard uses magnetic switches with 0.01 mm actuation precision and Rapid Trigger support, a setup also seen in the Keychron Q5 HE 8K gaming keyboard. Keys reset dynamically based on movement rather than fixed points, enabling faster repeated inputs. The ULTRA 75 maintains an 8kHz polling rate in both wired USB and 2.4GHz wireless modes, matching devices like the Razer Viper V4 Pro with 8K polling. Standard gaming keyboards typically run at 1,000Hz, making this significantly higher in terms of input reporting frequency.

The Rapid Trigger implementation places the ULTRA 75 in the same category as Hall-effect keyboards used in competitive gaming setups, similar to the Dareu A98 Pro keyboard with Rapid Trigger, where faster reset behavior can improve control in rapid key presses.

Dareu uses a Luban HiFi magnetic switch design built around a mortise-and-tenon frame with a plastic base. The result is a more stable, consistent keystroke, with sound kept in check across different setups.

The keyboard measures 330 × 146 × 50.5 mm and weighs about 3.92 lbs (1.78 kg). It includes an 8000 mAh battery and supports tri-mode connectivity with wired USB, 2.4GHz wireless, and Bluetooth.

Dareu has priced the ULTRA 75 at 1,799 yuan in China. Pricing and availability in other regions have not been announced.
