Keychron has officially launched the V10 Ultra 8K wireless mechanical keyboard, introducing 8,000 Hz polling rate performance, a 660-hour battery rating, and an ergonomic 75% Alice layout at a $124.99 price point. Alongside it, the Keychron unveiled the V0 Ultra wireless performance numpad, expanding its Ultra lineup for competitive gaming and productivity users in the US market.
According to Keychron’s official listings, the V10 Ultra launches at $124.99, a price below most wireless 8,000 Hz mechanical keyboards currently on the market. The V0 Ultra numpad is listed at $69.99. Together, the two products bring 8K polling support into a price range that typically excludes wireless models.
The V10 Ultra features a 75% Alice ergonomic layout. The Alice design splits and angles the key clusters to promote a more natural wrist position during long typing sessions or competitive gaming. Unlike standard 75% layouts, the slight split reduces inward wrist rotation while retaining dedicated arrow keys and a full function row.
Polling rate determines how often a keyboard reports inputs to a PC. Most gaming keyboards operate at 1,000 Hz.
The V10 Ultra supports 8,000 Hz polling in both wired and 2.4 GHz wireless modes, meaning it reports input eight times more frequently than traditional gaming keyboards. In real-world competitive gaming scenarios, this reduces input latency and can improve responsiveness in fast-paced esports titles.
Offering true 8K polling in wireless mode at this price remains uncommon in the current mechanical keyboard market.
Keychron has previously introduced 8K polling in low-profile models such as the Keychron K3 HE and K3 Ultra 8K keyboards, expanding the technology across different form factors.
The keyboard runs on ZMK firmware, an open-source wireless-optimized firmware widely respected in enthusiast communities. It operates on a microcontroller with 1MB of flash memory, enabling deeper customization and firmware flexibility compared to many proprietary gaming keyboards.
Connectivity includes:
- 2.4 GHz wireless via USB receiver
- Bluetooth 5.3 with multi-device pairing
- USB-C wired mode
Users can connect up to three Bluetooth devices and switch between them, making the keyboard suitable for hybrid work setups involving Windows PCs, macOS systems, tablets, or smartphones.
Other performance-focused keyboards, including models with optical switch implementations like the ASUS ProArt KD300 optical switch keyboard, also target low-latency input.
The keyboard is powered by a 4,000 mAh battery rated for up to 660 hours of use with backlighting disabled. This extended endurance reduces charging frequency for long-term wireless operation. When the battery runs low, the keyboard can continue functioning in wired mode while recharging over USB-C, avoiding any interruption in use.
The V10 Ultra ships with pre-lubed Keychron Silk POM mechanical switches, available in Red (linear), Brown (tactile), and Banana (early tactile) variants. POM housing and stems are known for smooth keystrokes and durability, with a rated lifespan of up to 50 million keystrokes.
Hot-swap support for 3-pin and 5-pin MX-style switches allows switch replacement without soldering, aligning the board with enthusiast customization standards.
Acoustic tuning includes a gasket mount structure combined with PET film, EPDM foam, and bottom case acoustic foam. This layered internal design reduces case resonance and improves typing acoustics a feature typically seen in enthusiast custom keyboards rather than mainstream wireless gaming boards.
The V10 Ultra uses double-shot PBT keycaps in an OSA profile. PBT resists shine over time better than ABS, while OSA combines OEM height with a slightly spherical top surface for comfort.
It includes south-facing per-key RGB backlighting with 22+ presets, per-key customization, split-zone Mix RGB effects, and a static white mode.
Customization is handled via the browser-based Keychron Launcher web app, compatible with Windows, macOS, and Linux. Users can remap keys, assign macros, modify shortcuts, and adjust lighting without installing dedicated software — a notable advantage for multi-OS users.

The V0 Ultra numpad extends the Ultra ecosystem for users who prefer compact keyboards but still require numeric input for finance, data entry, or content workflows.
The concept of compact productivity hardware has also appeared in devices like the Keebmon Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 keyboard PC, which integrates computing directly into a keyboard chassis.
It runs ZMK firmware, supports 8,000 Hz polling in wired and 2.4 GHz modes, includes Bluetooth 5.3 multi-device support, and offers up to 360 hours of battery life. This makes it suitable for pairing with desktops as well as laptops with backlit keyboards in hybrid work setups.
With 8K wireless polling, long battery endurance, hot-swap customization, and an ergonomic Alice layout at a sub-$130 price, the V10 Ultra enters a growing segment of high-performance wireless mechanical keyboards that blend esports responsiveness with long-term productivity comfort.
