MSI has revealed the new Cubi NUC TWG series, an ultra-compact mini PC family designed for business and commercial use, joining other compact systems like the GMKtec EVO-T2 mini PC. The range includes both standard and fanless models, with the fanless versions made for users who want silent performance in offices, kiosks, and retail environments.
The Cubi NUC TWG series is powered by Intel’s entry-level Twin Lake processors, with configurations available featuring either the Intel Processor N250 or N150. These chips are intended for everyday office work, web browsing, digital signage, and other light computing tasks rather than performance-heavy workloads.
MSI is offering two cooling versions. The regular Cubi NUC TWG uses an active fan cooler, while the Cubi NUC TWG S adopts a fanless design to eliminate operating noise and reduce long-term maintenance requirements, similar to the AAEON Intelli TWL01 fanless industrial PC.
Inside the mini PC includes one DDR5 SO-DIMM slot for memory and one M.2 2280 NVMe SSD slot for storage, a layout commonly found in compact mini PC such as the ASUS NUC 16 Pro.
Despite its small footprint, MSI includes a broad range of connectivity options. The front panel provides two USB 10Gbps Type-A ports, two USB 2.0 ports, and a 3.5 mm audio combo jack. Around the back, users get a USB 10Gbps Type-C port with DisplayPort 1.4 Alt Mode, dual HDMI outputs capable of 4K at 60Hz, dual Ethernet ports, and two more USB 2.0 ports.
The PC can drive up to three displays simultaneously through its HDMI and USB-C outputs.
Networking features include one 2.5Gb Ethernet port and one 1Gb Ethernet port. Wireless connectivity varies by model, with higher-end versions offering Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3, while some configurations include Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth 5.0 instead.
MSI has also added several practical business-focused features, including MSI Power Link support, cable organizer support, VESA mounting compatibility, fTPM security, and a Kensington lock slot.
The Cubi NUC TWG comes bundled with a 65W power adapter and measures 135.6 x 112.6 x 40.1 mm, giving it a total chassis volume of just 0.55 liters.
MSI has not announced pricing or release availability yet.
