Philips has quietly listed the Evnia 32M2N8900X in China, introducing an updated 31.5-inch QD-OLED gaming monitor with higher brightness and panel refinements over the earlier 32M2N8900. The listing suggests a refinement of Philips’ QD-OLED lineup rather than a full redesign, with improvements focused on brightness and panel behavior.
It keeps the same 4K (3840 × 2160) resolution at 240Hz, along with a 0.03 ms response time, Adaptive-Sync support, and a ClearMR 13000 rating. The monitor continues to use the same underlying QD-OLED panel generation as the previous model, with updates focused on brightness and panel structure.
An RGB Q-Stripe subpixel layout is used along with a 3H anti-reflective coating, aimed at improving text clarity and reducing reflections compared to earlier OLED panels.
Compared to the previous version, SDR brightness rises to 300 nits, roughly a 20% increase. HDR brightness reaches 515 nits at a 10% window and peaks at 1000 nits in smaller highlights, with DisplayHDR True Black 500 certification listed as an upgrade over the earlier model.
Color coverage stays similar, with a 10-bit panel supporting 100% sRGB and 99.5% DCI-P3. Delta E is rated below 2 in sRGB mode, and pixel density sits at around 140 PPI on the 31.5-inch panel.
Features include three-sided Ambiglow, a built-in KVM switch, Smart Crosshair, ShadowBoost, and PiP/PbP modes. A built-in KVM switch allows control of multiple systems from a single keyboard and mouse.

Ports include DisplayPort 2.1, two HDMI 2.1 ports, USB-C with up to 65W power delivery, and a USB hub with upstream and downstream connections. This setup supports both high bandwidth gaming and single-cable laptop use, especially with newer laptops that support USB-C display output. The combination of high color accuracy and pixel density also makes it suitable for content creation and detailed desktop work.

A graphene-based heat layer is used for heat management and panel longevity. The monitor targets high-end gaming systems capable of running 4K at high refresh rates, typically paired with hardware like the RTX 50 Ultra series graphics cards.
The Evnia 32M2N8900X is currently listed in China. Pricing and availability in other regions have not been announced.
