Pulsar ZywOo Gen 2 Launches With 8K Wireless Polling, 59g Weight

Pulsar Gaming Gears has introduced the Pulsar ZywOo The Chosen Mouse Gen 2 Limited Edition Pink, a new wireless esports gaming mouse made in collaboration with Mathieu Herbaut, better known as ZywOo. The launch comes as the Counter-Strike star continues to dominate the competitive scene, adding more weight to this performance-focused release.

This second-generation model is designed for serious FPS players who want speed, precision, and consistency. Pulsar says the mouse shape was developed specifically for palm grip users and fine-tuned with feedback from ZywOo to meet tournament-level standards. It comes in two sizes: a lighter Mini and a slightly larger Medium version.

The Mini weighs just 0.13 lb (0.059 kg), while the Medium weighs 0.14 lb (0.062 kg). Both models fall into the ultra-lightweight category, which many competitive players prefer for quicker flicks and smoother tracking in games like Counter-Strike. High-polling mice are often paired with powerful systems such as the Lenovo Legion 7a Gen 11 with RTX 5060 to maintain consistently high frame rates. Over the years, competitive gear like the Razer Boomslang $1,337 mouse has also gained iconic status among serious players for its performance and distinctive design.

One of the biggest upgrades is the new Link 8K Dongle. This allows the mouse to support up to an 8,000Hz wireless polling rate. In simple terms, that means the mouse sends data to your PC up to 8,000 times per second. A higher polling rate can help reduce input delay and improve responsiveness, especially in fast-paced shooters.

The Link 8K Dongle includes physical buttons. Players can adjust DPI, polling rate, and onboard profiles directly from the dongle. This makes it easier to change settings without opening background software, which can be useful during tournaments or practice sessions.

The mouse uses Pulsar Optical Switches rated for 100 million clicks. Optical switches are built for faster actuation and are designed to reduce the risk of double-click issues over time. Other hardware-focused designs, such as the ASUS ProArt Mouse MD301 with swappable switches, also emphasize durability and long-term reliability. For competitive players, consistent click response and build quality matter far more than cosmetic changes.

Pulsar has not revealed the exact sensor model in this announcement, but the company’s recent flagship esports mice typically feature high-end sensors built for precise tracking and low-latency performance.

The Limited Edition Pink version follows ZywOo’s signature stage look, pairing bright pink with yellow accents. Pulsar says only 5,000 units will be produced worldwide across both size options.

In the United States, the mouse is priced at $139.95. Sales begin March 3, 2026 through Pulsar’s official online store, with additional availability depending on regional retailers.

With its sub-60g weight and support for up to 8,000Hz wireless polling, the ZywOo Gen 2 is aimed squarely at competitive players who prioritize speed and responsiveness in tournament-level play.
