Slimbook Kymera Compact microATX Desktop Returns With Updated Configuration

Slimbook has released its Kymera desktop lineup, bringing the Compact microATX model back after a few months away and rolling out an updated configuration across the range, entering a segment that includes systems like the ASUS ROG Strix G10X holographic gaming desktop.

The main highlight this time is the return of the Compact model. Slimbook notes that the smaller form factor was one of the most requested by users, and it now comes back with an updated configuration system designed to support a wide range of builds, from office work to gaming setups.

At the same time, Slimbook has reworked its product pages and configuration. The new desktop configuration gives you more control over component choices across all Kymera models, pushing the lineup closer to fully custom builds instead of fixed hardware presets..

The Kymera Cristal remains the visually focused option, using tempered glass panels on the front and side to expose internal components and lighting setups, similar to designs seen in the Antec 900 full tower case for AI workstations and gaming. The chassis is designed to highlight hardware rather than conceal it.

The Kymera Woodline continues with a different approach, combining wood elements with standard PC hardware. The design is intended for setups where the desktop blends into a workspace rather than standing out as a typical gaming tower.

Slimbook has also brought back the Kymera Black, its full-size ATX tower, after a period of limited availability. The chassis supports a wide range of components and cooling configurations, making it the most flexible option in the lineup for high-performance builds.

Across the series, Slimbook is focusing on configurability. This desktop are built around user-selected components, allowing each configuration to be tailored for gaming, professional workloads, or general desktop use instead of relying on fixed specifications.

The Kymera lineup continues to target users who want pre-built systems with the flexibility of custom PC builds, rather than standard off-the-shelf desktops, a direction also reflected in builds like the TechForge Revolution Ryzen 9850X3D RX 9070 XT system.
