LG has opened US preorders for its new UltraGear evo 52G930B gaming monitor, a 52-inch 5K2K display with a 240Hz refresh rate designed to combine high-resolution workspace and competitive gaming performance in a single panel. The monitor is scheduled to ship later this spring starting at $1,999.99, positioning it as a large-format alternative to traditional dual-monitor setups.
According to recent information from LG’s US product listing, buyers who preorder now will receive a $200 LG credit and units are scheduled to begin shipping in late March. Industry sources indicate this model was first showcased at CES 2026, joining other UltraGear displays like the LG UltraGear evo 5K series showcased at CES 2026.
The UltraGear evo 52G930B uses a curved VA panel at 5120 x 2160 resolution in a 21:9 aspect ratio. This 5K2K format delivers more vertical pixel area than wider super-ultrawides, offering ample workspace for editors and multitaskers while maintaining a wide field of view for immersive gaming.
LG rates the panel for a 240Hz refresh rate and a 1ms gray-to-gray response time, which positions it for fast-paced gaming where motion clarity matters. The display supports AMD FreeSync Premium variable refresh rate technology to reduce visual tearing when paired with compatible graphics cards.
Brightness specifications include a typical 400 nits with DisplayHDR 600 certification, which allows highlights to peak at 600 nits in HDR content. With a claimed 4000:1 contrast ratio and 95 percent DCI-P3 color coverage, the panel targets users who need strong contrast along with wide color gamut coverage.
Connectivity options include DisplayPort 2.1 and HDMI 2.1 ports for high-bandwidth input from modern PCs and consoles. A USB-C port with up to 90W power delivery and an integrated KVM switch are also included.

The stand supports height and swivel adjustments for flexible positioning. Built-in speakers and on-screen control features are included for everyday use.
The UltraGear evo 52G930B is priced at $1,999.99. The focus is on delivering a 240Hz refresh rate across a 52-inch 5K2K panel rather than maximizing pixel density.
LG’s gaming lineup also includes options such as the LG UltraGear 37G800A 37-inch 4K gaming monitor, giving buyers a smaller high-resolution alternative within the UltraGear family.
With DisplayPort 2.1 connectivity and a 5120 × 2160 resolution, the 52G930B combines high refresh performance with expansive screen space in a single display.
