Xiaomi’s REDMI Book 14 2027 and REDMI Book 16 2027 laptops are on sale in China.
Sales began on November 3 at 10:00 a.m. local time. Prices start at CNY 6,799 (about $1023) for the Book 14 and CNY 6,999 (about $1053) for the Book 16. Early buyers may receive a 20,000mAh power bank as a gift.
The REDMI Book 14 has a 14-inch display with a resolution of 2,880 × 1,800 pixels. It supports a 120Hz refresh rate, 500 nits of brightness, and 100% sRGB color coverage.
The screen has full-range DC dimming. Its aluminum body measures 13.95mm thick and weighs around 2.82 lbs (1.28kg). Color options are Sea Breeze Blue, Nebula Purple, Moonlight Silver, and Space Gray.
The REDMI Book 16 features a 16-inch display with a resolution of 2,560 × 1,600 pixels. It supports a 120Hz refresh rate, 400 nits of brightness, and 100% sRGB color coverage.
The panel has full-range DC dimming and TÜV Rheinland Low Blue Light and Flicker-Free certifications. The laptop measures 14.35mm thick and weighs around 3.43 lbs (1.56kg). It comes in Moonlight Silver and Space Gray.
Both laptops offer Intel Core 5 320 and Core 7 350 processors from the Wildcat Lake family. The chips have six cores and six threads and are built on Intel’s 18A process.
The Core 5 320 reaches 4.6GHz, while the Core 7 350 reaches 4.8GHz. Both have 6MB of L3 cache and integrated Intel Graphics. Xiaomi pairs them with 16GB LPDDR5X memory running at 7,467MT/s. Storage options are 512GB and 1TB SSDs.
Cooling comes from two fans and a 10mm heat pipe. Xiaomi claims the design improves heat transfer by 25% over a 6mm pipe and supports up to 30W of sustained processor performance.
Both models have a 72Wh battery. Xiaomi claims the REDMI Book 16 can provide up to 19.5 hours of simulated office work and 1.27 days of local video playback.
In the company’s 12-hour heavy mixed-use test, the Book 16 reportedly had 18% battery remaining. These are Xiaomi’s test figures, not independent results. The Book 16 comes with a 68W power adapter.
The laptops have two USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 ports, two USB-A 3.2 Gen 1 ports, HDMI 2.1 TMDS, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Wireless connectivity covers Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.4.
The Book 16 has a backlit keyboard with three brightness levels and a separate numeric keypad. It further features a fingerprint reader in the power button, a 150 × 95mm touchpad, a 720p webcam, and two 2W speakers.
Super Xiao Ai 2.0 provides AI writing, document summaries, PowerPoint creation, and programming assistance on the Book 16. Xiaomi Notes for PC supports meeting summaries and cross-device syncing. The laptop runs the Chinese edition of Windows 11 Home.
