Lenovo Yoga Pro 7a With Ryzen AI Max+ Debuts at MWC 2026

Lenovo has unveiled the Yoga Pro 7a Copilot+ PC at MWC 2026, introducing AMD’s new Ryzen AI Max+ mobile processor to its premium Yoga lineup, joining other Lenovo announcements at the show, including the Yoga Book Pro 3D concept.. The system supports up to 95W of sustained performance, features a 2.5K OLED display, and offers unified memory configurations of up to 128GB.

The Yoga Pro 7a runs Windows 11 and is part of Microsoft’s Copilot+ PC category, which emphasizes local AI acceleration. Lenovo recently refreshed other premium Yoga models as well, including the Intel-based Yoga 7i Aura Edition. Lenovo is targeting creators and power users who need strong multitasking performance and on-device processing rather than relying entirely on cloud-based tools.

The laptop will be available in 15-inch and 11-inch variants. The larger 15.3-inch model includes a 2.5K PureSight Pro OLED panel aimed at content creation workloads such as video editing, illustration, and 3D work. Lenovo also equips the system with four Dolby Atmos speakers and a quad-microphone array that supports 3D noise reduction and Voice ID authentication for calls and conferencing.

Powering the device is AMD’s Ryzen AI Max+ platform, which Lenovo says can scale up to 95W under load. The chip combines Zen CPU cores with AMD’s XDNA NPU architecture to handle AI workloads locally. Features like generative image tools, AI-assisted editing, and real-time processing effects are designed to run directly on the device rather than offloading entirely to remote servers.

The Yoga Pro 7a supports unified memory architecture, allowing the CPU and integrated GPU to share up to 128GB of RAM. This shared design helps reduce latency and improve performance in memory-intensive workloads like large video exports, AI-generated rendering, real-time 3D modeling, and professional creative applications.

Thermal performance is a key focus. Lenovo integrates its upgraded X Power cooling system with enhanced heat pipes and dual fans, while claiming noise levels as low as 22dB during operation. This balance between sustained high wattage performance and low acoustic output is important for studio environments and long editing sessions.

One of the standout features is the Wacom-powered Force Pad. The trackpad doubles as a pressure-sensitive drawing surface and works with the included Yoga Pen Gen 2. When the pen is active, touchpad gestures are automatically disabled to prevent accidental input. This design effectively builds a sketchpad into the laptop, reducing the need for external drawing tablets for many workflows.

Lenovo’s Power Engine software includes three system modes: Extreme Power Boost, Adaptive Performance, and Extreme Low Power. These modes allow users to prioritize maximum performance, balanced operation, or battery efficiency depending on their workload.

Connectivity is designed for professional setups. The laptop includes two full-function USB-C ports placed side by side, supporting high-speed storage, external displays, and docking solutions commonly used in creative workstations.

Lenovo has not yet announced final pricing or availability details. More information is expected as the company prepares for a broader global rollout. The Yoga Pro 7a reflects Lenovo’s continued push into AI-powered premium laptops, combining OLED visuals, high-wattage Ryzen AI performance, and integrated creative tools in a single Copilot+ PC.
