Lenovo has started selling the Legion 7a Gen 11 (16″) in the United States, combining AMD’s Ryzen AI 400 series processors with Nvidia’s GeForce RTX 5060 laptop GPU. The configuration is currently listed at $2,079.99 on Lenovo’s US store, with options for the Ryzen AI 7 450 and Ryzen AI 9 HX 470.
The Legion 7a joins other Lenovo laptops introduced at MWC 2026, including the Slim 5i Ultra and Yoga Slim 7i Aura.
This model differs from the Strix Halo–based Legion 7a shown earlier at MWC 2026, which relied entirely on integrated Radeon graphics. The US retail version instead follows a conventional gaming design with a discrete GPU and dedicated VRAM.
The Legion 7a Gen 11 features a 16-inch OLED display with a 2560 × 1600 resolution and a 240 Hz refresh rate. The panel reaches up to 500 nits of brightness. Combined with the RTX 5060, the display is positioned for high-refresh gaming while also offering OLED contrast and fast response characteristics.
Processor options include the Ryzen AI 7 450, rated at 2.00 GHz base and up to 5.10 GHz boost, and the Ryzen AI 9 HX 470, which boosts up to 5.20 GHz. Both chips belong to AMD’s Ryzen AI 400 family and integrate XDNA neural processing units for on-device AI workloads in Windows 11. Lenovo is also using the same silicon in its Yoga Pro 7a Copilot+ PC announced at MWC 2026, expanding its Ryzen AI lineup across both gaming and creator systems.
The Legion 7a uses Nvidia’s GeForce RTX 5060 laptop GPU with 8GB of dedicated video memory. In practical terms, that makes it well suited for smooth 1080p gaming at high refresh rates, and it can also handle many 1440p titles comfortably, depending on the game and graphics settings.
The laptop comes with 32GB of LPDDR5X-8533 memory that’s built directly onto the motherboard. That means you can’t upgrade the RAM later, but it helps Lenovo keep the design slimmer. Storage, however, can be configured when ordering through Lenovo’s website.
An 84 Wh battery is included, and the laptop weighs approximately 4.08 pounds (1.85 kg). This keeps it lighter than many RTX-equipped gaming laptops in the same performance class.
The Legion 7a Gen 11 is currently available in the United States, with additional listings in markets including Canada, Australia, the United Kingdom, and parts of Europe. US pricing begins at $2,079.99.
Lenovo is now selling two versions of the Legion 7a. One pairs Ryzen AI processors with Nvidia’s RTX 5060, while the other relies entirely on AMD’s Strix Halo platform with integrated Radeon graphics. The difference comes down to whether buyers prefer a traditional discrete GPU setup or an all-in-one integrated design.
