ViewSonic has introduced the VA27G11, a 27-inch Full HD gaming monitor with a 1920 × 1080 IPS panel and support for refresh rates up to 175Hz. The model is aimed at budget-conscious gamers looking for a high-refresh display.
The monitor has appeared in China with a price of 579 yuan (about $80). At this price level, the VA27G11 becomes one of the most affordable gaming monitors offering a 175Hz refresh rate in the entry-level gaming display market, joining other recent budget high-refresh displays such as the Dell SE2726HG 240Hz gaming monitor.
According to product details, the VA27G11 uses a 27-inch IPS panel with a resolution of 1920 × 1080. IPS panels are known for wide viewing angles, and this monitor supports 178-degree viewing angles so colors remain consistent when viewed from different sides. The display runs at a native refresh rate of 144Hz and can be overclocked up to 175Hz, which helps provide smoother motion during fast gameplay compared with standard 60Hz monitors.
The monitor is designed to support competitive gaming. It includes a 1 ms MPRT response time that helps reduce ghosting during fast action scenes. It also supports AMD FreeSync and Nvidia G-Sync compatible adaptive sync technology, which helps reduce screen tearing and stuttering while playing games.
Color performance is another feature of the VA27G11. The IPS panel reportedly covers 100 percent of the sRGB color gamut and supports 16.7 million colors. This helps deliver accurate colors for games, video streaming, and general desktop work. The monitor also supports HDR10 and includes a black stabilization feature that improves visibility in darker scenes by enhancing shadow details.
The ViewSonic VA27G11 includes two HDMI 2.0 ports and one DisplayPort 1.4. These ports allow users to connect gaming PCs, laptops, and consoles. The monitor also has an audio output port for headphones or speakers. It supports VESA 100 × 100 mounting, so it can be installed on monitor arms or wall mounts.

The release of the VA27G11 shows a growing trend in the gaming monitor market where high refresh rate displays are becoming more affordable, similar to newer displays like the AOC 27B35XE 144Hz IPS gaming monitor. In the past, monitors with refresh rates above 165Hz were usually found in more expensive gaming monitors, but newer budget models are starting to offer similar performance.
For gamers upgrading from a standard 60Hz display, moving to a 144Hz or 175Hz monitor can make gameplay feel smoother and more responsive. This improvement is especially noticeable in fast competitive games such as first-person shooters and multiplayer esports titles.
With its 27-inch IPS display, adaptive sync support, and refresh rates up to 175Hz, the ViewSonic VA27G11 is positioned as an affordable gaming monitor for casual gamers, students, and users building a budget gaming PC setup with sufficient system RAM.
