ASUS ROG Strix G10X Desktop Features Holographic AniMe Holo Panel

ASUS has officially introduced the ROG Strix G10X gaming desktop in China, bringing a bold and unusual design to the high-end gaming PC market. The new machine features a built-in holographic projection system that is integrated directly into the desktop chassis.

The system was first shown during CES 2026 and is now preparing for its initial regional launch in China. The system combines enthusiast-level hardware with an experimental chassis design.

The desktop targets enthusiast gaming systems while introducing a holographic visual system integrated into the chassis. One of the most distinctive aspects of the machine is the holographic projection module, which turns the desktop itself into part of the visual experience of a gaming station.

The system includes ASUS’s “AniMe Holo” holographic display module. Instead of a traditional display panel, the technology uses a high-speed rotating LED array that projects naked-eye 3D visuals onto the front cooling fans and side panel of the chassis.

The rotating LED array uses persistence-of-vision technology to generate floating 3D visual effects outside the chassis surface. The effect gives the desktop a futuristic appearance that is rarely seen in conventional gaming PCs.

Customization is handled through ASUS control software, allowing users to upload and adjust the holographic animations. Lighting effects can also be synchronized across several components, including the graphics card, cooling fans, and the chassis lighting system.

Aura Sync RGB allows synchronization with compatible ASUS peripherals. As a result, users can build a fully synchronized lighting setup across their entire gaming station.

The ROG Strix G10X uses a large 104-liter ATX tower chassis designed for high-performance components. The spacious internal layout leaves enough room for strong cooling hardware while also making future upgrades easier.

The case also includes quick-access control buttons that allow users to adjust fan speeds or activate the holographic display system instantly.

Cooling is handled through a three-zone thermal architecture. In this design, the processor, graphics subsystem, and power supply are separated into different airflow sections.

This layout helps prevent heat from spreading across the entire chassis and keeps temperatures more stable during long gaming sessions or demanding workloads.

The CPU compartment supports a large 420 mm all-in-one liquid cooling system that draws fresh air directly from outside the case. Additional cooling fans maintain airflow around the graphics card and the motherboard area.

Meanwhile, the power supply is placed in its own lower compartment, reducing heat buildup in the main chamber. On the hardware side, the ROG Strix G10X targets the enthusiast gaming segment.

Top configurations include AMD’s Ryzen 9 9950X3D processor paired with an AMD X870 chipset motherboard.

For graphics, buyers can choose from several powerful GPU options:

These GPU options target high-end gaming and content creation workloads.

Memory support reaches up to 128GB of DDR5 RAM. Storage options include up to 4TB of PCIe 4.0 SSD capacity, providing fast load times for large games and creative projects.

According to ASUS, every unit is factory-tuned and tested to ensure stable performance for gaming, streaming, and demanding tasks such as video editing or 3D rendering.

As gaming setups become more personalized and visually expressive, features like holographic projection could become another way high-end desktops differentiate themselves.

ASUS has revealed the desktop in China but has not yet confirmed pricing or global availability.

The company is expected to launch the system in the Chinese market first, global availability has not yet been confirmed.
