ASUS Republic of Gamers has announced three new OLED gaming monitors in its Strix lineup: the ROG Strix OLED XG27AQDMG Gen2, ROG Strix OLED XG27ACDMS, and ROG Strix OLED XG27AQDMES. All three models use 27-inch QHD panels and focus on high refresh rates, fast response times, and OLED image quality for gaming systems. Recent high-refresh gaming displays also include the AOC AGON Pro AGP277QK dual-mode monitor designed for extremely high refresh rate esports setups.
Each monitor features a 2560 × 1440 resolution and a 0.03 ms gray-to-gray response time, allowing extremely fast pixel transitions during competitive gameplay. Refresh rates range from 240Hz to 280Hz depending on the model. ASUS positions the monitors as more accessible entries into its OLED lineup while keeping many of the features found in higher-end ROG displays.
ASUS also recently introduced curved gaming displays including the TUF Gaming VG34WQML5A ultrawide monitor focused on high refresh gameplay.
The lineup includes two OLED panel technologies. The XG27AQDMG Gen2 uses a TrueBlack Glossy WOLED panel, while the XG27ACDMS and XG27AQDMES use semi-glossy QD-OLED panels. Both technologies provide deep contrast, fast response times, and wide color coverage.
ROG Strix OLED XG27AQDMG Gen2
The ROG Strix OLED XG27AQDMG Gen2 features a 27-inch WOLED display with a TrueBlack Glossy coating designed to enhance contrast and reduce visual haze. The panel runs at a 240Hz refresh rate and delivers a peak brightness of up to 1300 nits. The monitor also carries VESA DisplayHDR 400 True Black certification and covers 99% of the DCI-P3 color space.

Connectivity includes DisplayPort 1.4 with Display Stream Compression, two HDMI 2.1 ports, and a USB hub for peripherals. ASUS lists the monitor with a US MSRP of $649.
ROG Strix OLED XG27ACDMS
The ROG Strix OLED XG27ACDMS uses a 27-inch QD-OLED panel and targets competitive gaming with a 280Hz refresh rate, the highest in the new lineup. The monitor maintains the same 0.03 ms response time as the other models and reaches up to 1000 nits of peak brightness with VESA DisplayHDR 400 True Black certification.

The display includes DisplayPort 1.4 with DSC, HDMI 2.1, and a USB-C port that supports 15W power delivery for compatible devices. The monitor carries a US MSRP of $699.
ROG Strix OLED XG27AQDMES
The ROG Strix OLED XG27AQDMES also uses a 27-inch QD-OLED panel but runs at a 240Hz refresh rate. Peak brightness reaches 400 nits while maintaining the same QHD resolution and 0.03 ms response time as the other monitors.

Connectivity options include DisplayPort 1.4 with DSC and two HDMI 2.1 ports. ASUS lists the model with a starting price of $599, making it the most affordable option in the new OLED lineup.

OLED Care Pro and Gaming Features
All three monitors include ASUS OLED Care Pro technology designed to reduce the risk of OLED burn-in. A Neo Proximity Sensor detects when the user leaves the desk and automatically dims the display. Detection distance can be adjusted to match the user’s setup.
The displays also include a custom cooling heatsink to help maintain panel longevity. Each unit is factory color-calibrated and ships with a report verifying color accuracy. ASUS also provides a three-year warranty for the OLED panels.
High-end OLED gaming displays are also appearing in premium segments with models including the LG UltraGear 5K2K 240Hz OLED monitor aimed at enthusiast gaming systems.
Gaming features include Extreme Low Motion Blur (ELMB) technology to reduce ghosting during fast scenes, Dynamic Shadow Boost for improved visibility in dark areas, and Dynamic Crosshair that adjusts color automatically for better visibility. Display settings and profiles can be managed through ASUS DisplayWidget Center software in Windows.
The monitors also support aspect-ratio control, allowing users to switch to smaller screen modes such as the 24.5-inch esports format commonly used in competitive gaming.
