Gigabyte has listed a new BRIX mini PC, the GB-BRR7-450. It’s a compact unit with support for up to 96GB of DDR5 memory, PCIe Gen5 storage, and an integrated NPU rated at up to 50 TOPS.
The listing confirms support for AMD Ryzen 400 series processors, although specific SKUs are not disclosed. The platform is expected to align with AMD’s latest “Gorgon Point” lineup, bringing updated CPU and AI capabilities to the BRIX series, following developments seen in the AMD Ryzen AI 400 desktop platform.
It comes with 96GB of DDR5-5600 memory through dual SO-DIMM or CSO-DIMM slots. Storage includes two M.2 2280 slots, with one offering PCIe Gen4 x4 support and the other designed for PCIe Gen5 x4 SSDs. A separate M.2 2230 slot is available for Wi-Fi and Bluetooth modules.
The Gigabyte BRIX Mini PC uses AMD Radeon 800M integrated graphics and supports up to four displays via dual HDMI 2.1 outputs and two USB Type-C ports with DisplayPort 2.1 Alt mode.
Ports include 1× USB4, 2× USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-C, 3× USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-A, 1× USB 2.0, dual HDMI 2.1, 2.5GbE LAN, and a 3.5mm audio jack. One USB Type-C port supports power delivery input, allowing the PC to be powered via a compatible adapter or monitor connection, while the USB4 interface enables external GPU support, a feature also present in the GMKtec EVO-T2 mini PC with Core Ultra. Audio is handled by a Realtek codec.
The chassis measures 112.6 × 34.4 × 119.4 mm and includes VESA mounting support for 75 × 75 mm and 100 × 100 mm configurations.
This setup marks a clear step up from earlier BRIX models like the BRR7H-7730 and BER7-8840, bringing higher memory limits, next-gen storage support, and a dedicated NPU. It also puts it forward as an AMD-based option alongside Gigabyte’s recent Intel-powered BRIX lineup.
Gigabyte has not disclosed pricing or availability. The presence of a full specification page indicates that launch details are likely to follow.
