Honor MagicBook Pro 2026 Packs 3K OLED, 165Hz LCD, Core Ultra CPUs

Honor is preparing to launch the MagicBook Pro 2026 series in China, pairing a 3K OLED touchscreen on the 14-inch model with a 165Hz LCD panel on the 16-inch version, bringing higher refresh rates across both sizes, as we have seen in the Honor MagicBook Pro 14 2026 Core Ultra 3 model shown at MWC.

The MagicBook Pro 14 features a 14.6-inch OLED display with a 3120×2080 resolution, 3:2 aspect ratio, and 120Hz refresh rate, comparable to panels used in the Lenovo Yoga Slim 7i Gen 11 Aura Edition OLED laptop. The panel reaches up to 700 nits peak brightness and includes an anti-reflective coating. Honor also adds a dedicated reading mode designed to improve document clarity on glossy OLED screens.

The larger MagicBook Pro 16 uses a 16-inch LCD panel with a 3072×1920 resolution and a 16:10 aspect ratio. It supports a 165Hz refresh rate, reaches 500 nits brightness, and offers a 93% screen-to-body ratio. Both models include Honor’s Oasis eye protection technology.

The series is powered by Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processors, including Core Ultra 5 338H, Ultra 7 358H, and Ultra 9 388H, part of the broader Intel Core Ultra 200 series desktop CPUs lineup. Honor states the laptop can give up to 88W of performance, placing it above typical thin-and-light laptops and indicating sustained performance under load.

Memory speeds go up to 9600MT/s, and both models include dual M.2 2280 SSD slots for storage expansion, similar to configurations in the ASUS ExpertBook B3 G1 with up to 96GB RAM.

Both laptops include a 92Wh battery. The 14-inch model weighs about 1.37 kg (3.02 lbs), while the 16-inch version weighs 1.64 kg (3.61 lbs).

The split between OLED and high-refresh LCD panels suggests different use cases, with the 14-inch model focused on productivity and content work, while the 16-inch version targets smoother visuals and larger workspace.

Honor is expected to launch the MagicBook Pro 2026 series in China this month (April 2026). Pre-orders are already open through official channels, with early buyers receiving bundled accessories in select markets.
