Flydigi FS68 Magnetic Keyboard Teased With Multi Hall Sensors Ahead of April 22 Launch

Flydigi has teased the FS68 magnetic switch keyboard, featuring a multi Hall-effect sensor design aimed at higher input precision than standard magnetic keyboards. The launch is scheduled for April 22 at 19:00 Beijing time.

The keyboard uses a 65% layout without a traditional function row, reducing size and freeing up desk space, a layout also seen in compact designs like the Epomaker Luma100 low-profile mechanical keyboard. This format is common in compact gaming setups where mouse movement area is a priority.

A multi-sensor Hall effect system sits under each key, expanding on Hall-effect implementations seen in keyboards like the Keychron Q5 HE. Instead of a single sensor, multiple sensors track key position and movement more closely. The design improves how inputs register during rapid or repeated key presses.

Magnetic switch keyboards differ from traditional mechanical designs by tracking movement rather than relying on fixed actuation points, a concept also used in rapid-trigger keyboards such as the Dareu A98 Pro. The FS68 increases the number of sensing points under each key, improving input accuracy in fast-paced use.

The keyboard uses a suspended keycap structure with a metal positioning plate, a layout known for consistent key stability and uniform feedback.

Flydigi has not shared full specifications yet. Details such as connectivity, switch tuning, pricing, and wider availability will be announced during the launch event.
