Philips has unveiled the Evnia 27M2G5800, a 27-inch gaming monitor combining 5K resolution at up to 180Hz with a dual-mode 1440p setting that reaches 330Hz, joining the same range as Philips Evnia 32M2N8900X OLED gaming monitor lineup.
The Fast IPS panel operates at a native 5120 × 2880 resolution with refresh rates up to 165Hz, while overclocking raises that figure to 180Hz. Switching to 2560 × 1440 unlocks refresh rates up to 330Hz, although some Chinese listings advertise 350Hz while Philips officially rates the monitor at 330Hz, placing it among newer high-refresh displays like the TCL 27C2A Pro 4K 160Hz and 320Hz monitor.
It is a 27-inch panel, the display delivers roughly 217 PPI. Brightness is rated at 500 nits, and the panel carries VESA DisplayHDR 400 certification alongside a 1000:1 contrast ratio. Philips also lists 100% sRGB and 98% DCI-P3 color coverage.
Response time is rated at 1 ms GtG, while Smart MBR reduces perceived blur to 0.5 ms during supported motion reduction modes. Adaptive sync support is included, along with NVIDIA G-SYNC compatibility.
Gaming features include Smart Crosshair, Smart Sniper, Stark ShadowBoost, low input lag mode, and Philips’ Evnia Precision Center software for display customization.
Connectivity includes two HDMI 2.1 ports, one DisplayPort 2.1 connection, two USB-A downstream ports, one USB-B upstream port, and a 3.5 mm audio jack. DisplayPort 2.1 provides the bandwidth required for the monitor’s 5K high-refresh mode.
The monitor also supports KVM and MultiView functionality for handling multiple connected systems. The included stand supports height adjustment, tilt, and rotation, while VESA 100 × 100 mounting is also available, matching flexibility offered by the Gigabyte GO27Q24G gaming monitor.
Philips has priced the Evnia 27M2G5800 at 4,999 yuan in China, or roughly $730. Availability in other regions has not been announced.
