Sony INZONE M10S II Arrives With 720Hz Dual-Mode, 540Hz QHD OLED Gaming Monitor

Sony has introduced the INZONE M10S II, a 27-inch OLED gaming monitor capable of reaching 720Hz in dual-mode, placing it among the fastest esports displays announced so far and ahead of recent high-refresh launches.

The monitor features a 27-inch 2560 × 1440 OLED panel with a 0.02 ms gray-to-gray response time. Sony says the display was developed in collaboration with Fnatic and uses a fourth-generation tandem OLED panel designed for faster response and improved visual clarity during competitive play.

Its headline feature is dual-mode support, allowing the panel to operate at 540Hz in native QHD or switch to HD mode for refresh rates up to 720Hz, similar to other recent dual-mode gaming displays. Sony also includes a 24.5-inch display mode for players who prefer a smaller tournament-style screen format commonly used in esports.

Sony has added Motion Blur Reduction with brightness compensation to improve motion clarity without the heavy brightness drop seen on many strobing implementations. When enabled, Motion Blur Reduction is limited to 270Hz in QHD mode. The monitor also introduces Anti-VRR Flicker technology to reduce visible flicker while adaptive sync is active.

Additional gaming tools include a dynamic crosshair that changes color based on the background for improved visibility, along with FPS Pro and FPS Pro+ presets built for FPS gaming.

Sony has also upgraded the coating with a new Super Anti-Glare Film to reduce reflections in bright rooms and tournament lighting. The stand now uses a centered compact base with a 4 mm thin footprint, leaving more desk space for angled keyboards and large mousepads. Tilt adjustment has also increased from 25 degrees to 35 degrees.

Compared to the original INZONE M10S, the new model increases refresh rate from 480Hz to 540Hz, lowers response time from 0.03 ms to 0.02 ms, and adds new 720Hz dual-mode support as manufacturers continue pushing OLED esports panels further. Sony has also introduced Motion Blur Reduction and Anti-VRR Flicker as part of the update.

The INZONE M10S II will launch later this year for $1,099.99 in the US and $1,499.99 in Canada. Sony also includes a three-year warranty with the display.
