AOC launches 27-inch QHD 210Hz Fast IPS Gaming Monitors with Eye Care

AOC has introduced two new 27-inch QHD gaming monitors with 210Hz refresh rates, bringing a mix of high-performance gaming and built-in eye comfort features to the mainstream market, expanding its gaming display lineup. The new models, Q27G40LE/WS and Q27G41LE/WS, were announced on April 14 and reflect a growing focus on reducing eye strain during long gaming sessions.

Both monitors come with a 2560 × 1440 (QHD) Fast IPS panel and a 210Hz refresh rate, putting them ahead of the usual 144Hz, 165Hz, and even 180Hz options, as refresh rates continue to climb in newer displays. That makes them a solid choice for gamers who want smoother motion without jumping to pricier 240Hz displays.

On the specs side, these displays offer a 1ms gray-to-gray response time, 300 nits brightness, and a 1500:1 contrast ratio. Color coverage is solid too, with 100% sRGB and 93% DCI-P3, so they’re not just good for gaming but also work well for content consumption and everyday use.

What really stands out here is AOC’s circular polarization technology, which is designed to mimic more natural light and reduce eye strain during long sessions. It’s paired with hardware-level low blue light filtering and flicker-free technology, helping create a more comfortable viewing experience across different lighting conditions.

This combination places these monitors in a smaller group of QHD gaming displays that go beyond typical software-based eye comfort features and instead use hardware-level solutions.

When it comes to gaming, the 210Hz refresh rate and 1ms response time translate into smoother motion and less blur in fast-paced titles, especially in competitive genres like FPS and esports, where higher refresh rates are becoming standard.
