Colorful has listed a new Hidden Star P16 Pro gaming laptop in China, pairing Nvidia GeForce RTX 5060 graphics with Intel’s Core i9-13900HX processor at a starting price of 7,799 yuan. Sales begin April 24 through JD.com.
The new version comes with 16GB of memory and a 512GB SSD. It joins higher-priced RTX 5070 models already sold in the Hidden Star P16 Pro range, giving buyers a more affordable option.
Intel’s Core i9-13900HX brings 24 cores and 32 threads, which is rare in this price bracket where many competing laptops rely on lower-tier H-series chips, giving it stronger CPU value than many mainstream rivals. That gives the new P16 Pro stronger headroom for gaming, streaming, editing, and heavy multitasking.
Graphics come from the GeForce RTX 5060, which runs at high-refresh 1080p gaming and entry-level 1440p play depending on game settings, placing it among the latest RTX 50-series gaming notebooks. Buyers who do not need RTX 5070 pricing may find this version the better balance of cost and performance.
The laptop carries a 16-inch IPS display with a 2560 × 1600 resolution, 180Hz refresh rate, and full 100% sRGB coverage, a combination that suits both gaming and creative workloads. That is a stronger panel than the basic 1080p screens still common in many lower-cost gaming notebooks.
Cooling hardware includes dual turbine fans, five copper heat pipes, and four exhaust vents to keep the HX processor and GPU under control during longer gaming sessions, an important feature for high-performance notebooks.
The chassis comes in a Misty White finish with a futuristic look. Colorful also includes a full-size keyboard with 15-color backlighting.
Ports are spread across three sides. The left side includes one USB-A 3.2 Gen 1 port and a 3.5mm audio jack. The right side adds one USB-A 3.2 Gen 2 port and one USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 port. Around the back are HDMI, RJ45 Ethernet, and another USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 connector. Wi-Fi 6 is also onboard.
At 7,799 yuan, the new Hidden Star P16 Pro looks like one of the more aggressive gaming laptop launches in its class, especially for buyers who want an HX-series processor without stepping into pricier RTX 5070 territory.
