Lenovo ThinkPad T14s Gen 7 Starts Rolling Out With Core Ultra, OLED Display, and 32GB LPDDR5X

Lenovo has started shipping the ThinkPad T14s Gen 7 across parts of Europe, with Intel-based models arriving first. The laptop was introduced earlier this year, and current listings confirm that only the Intel platform is available at launch, while AMD and Snapdragon variants are expected to follow later.

The initial lineup includes Intel Core Ultra 5 325, Core Ultra 7 355, and Core Ultra 7 365 vPro processors. These chips target business workloads with a mix of efficiency and performance cores, along with integrated AI capabilities tied to Intel’s latest platform.

Memory starts at 16GB and goes up to 32GB LPDDR5X running at 8533 MT/s. It is soldered to the board, which is typical for the T14s series and helps keep the chassis thin.

Storage configurations range from 256GB to 1TB using M.2 2280 PCIe Gen4 SSDs. Lenovo is using TLC drives with Opal support, which is commonly found in enterprise-focused systems.

The 14-inch display lineup shows clear segmentation between entry and higher-end models. Base configurations use a WUXGA (1920 × 1200) IPS panel rated at 400 nits with 45% NTSC coverage. Mid-tier variants improve brightness to 500 nits and expand color to full sRGB, with touch support available. At the top end, Lenovo offers a 2.8K OLED panel with 100% DCI-P3 color, HDR True Black 500 certification, and variable refresh rate between 30Hz and 120Hz.

All configurations ship with a 58Wh battery. This matches what Lenovo lists across regions and keeps the focus on mobility rather than larger battery capacity.

This business/students laptop supports WWAN connectivity for mobile data, along with business features such as a fingerprint reader and optional smart card reader. These remain standard for enterprise-focused ThinkPad models.

The ThinkPad T14s Gen 7 keeps the same thin-and-light direction as earlier versions, but the move to Intel’s newer Core Ultra platform and the addition of a high-resolution OLED option give it a clearer upgrade path for business users who need better display quality without moving to larger models.
