MSI has introduced the MPG 322UR QD-OLED X24, a 32-inch 4K gaming monitor with a 240Hz refresh rate and a fourth-generation QD-OLED panel. It’s one of the early releases ahead of a broader global rollout. It shows how brands are starting to push high refresh rates even at 4K, especially as competition in the premium gaming monitor space continues to grow.
The display uses a 31.5-inch panel with a 3840 × 2160 resolution and a 240Hz refresh rate. That means you get sharp visuals along with very smooth motion. It puts the MPG 322UR X24 right up there with the latest high-end QD-OLED monitors, alongside the Philips Evnia 32M2N8900X.
MSI is clearly putting a lot of focus on image quality here. The panel can reach up to 1,000 nits of peak brightness and comes with VESA DisplayHDR True Black 500 certification. It also covers 99 percent of the DCI-P3 color range with good accuracy, so it works well not just for gaming, but also for video editing and other color-sensitive tasks.
The monitor uses a fourth-generation QD-OLED panel, which improves brightness efficiency and overall color performance compared to earlier versions, similar to developments in the LG 39GX950B.
Compared to earlier MPG models, the X24 brings a newer panel, better brightness control, and improved OLED protection features. It also shows how the industry is working on making OLED displays more durable without giving up performance.
To deal with long-term usage concerns, MSI has added its OLED Care 3.0 system. It includes an AI-based presence sensor that turns the screen on only when someone is sitting in front of it, which helps avoid unnecessary usage. The monitor also uses a custom heatsink and a graphene layer to manage heat better and help extend the panel’s lifespan.
Connectivity is what you’d expect from a flagship display, like the ASUS ROG Swift PG32UCDM3. It comes with DisplayPort 2.1 with UHBR20 bandwidth, HDMI 2.1 for high-refresh-rate gaming, and a USB Type-C port that can deliver up to 98W of power. You also get extra USB ports, so it can double as a hub for your peripherals and keep your setup clean and simple.
The panel has a very fast response time of around 0.03 ms, which helps keep motion clear and smooth. Thanks to OLED, you also get deep contrast and rich visuals. It works great for fast-paced games, but still looks excellent for everyday use as well.

This launch comes at a time when brands are pushing newer QD-OLED panels to improve brightness, color accuracy, and long-term reliability, as seen with the Samsung QD-OLED penta tandem technology. MSI’s latest model is likely to compete directly with other 32-inch 4K 240Hz OLED monitors in the premium segment.
The MSI MPG 322UR QD-OLED X24 is currently priced at 7,999 yuan, which works out to roughly $1,100 USD. A wider global release is expected, though the final price may vary depending on the region.
