AOC is pushing refresh rates further with the Q27G4KDP, a 26.5-inch WOLED gaming monitor that reaches up to 720Hz through a dual-mode panel design. The display runs at 2560 × 1440 up to 540Hz, or switches to 1920 × 1080 (Full HD) to unlock the full 720Hz refresh rate, giving players a clear choice between image clarity and maximum motion speed.
The panel is based on LG’s 4th-generation WOLED technology with a four-layer Primary RGB Tandem structure. This design improves brightness while keeping strong contrast and efficiency. Peak brightness reaches up to 1500 nits in HDR highlights, and the monitor meets VESA DisplayHDR True Black 500 certification for deep blacks and high contrast detail, a standard used in ASUS ProArt PA32USD.
AOC also includes an AGLR (Anti-Glare Low Reflection) coating, which helps reduce reflections and keeps visibility stable in bright environments. TÜV-certified flicker-free operation and hardware low blue light support are also present, aimed at reducing eye strain during long gaming sessions.
Motion clarity is the main focus of this display, pushing beyond refresh rates introduced in TCL CSOT 640Hz dual-mode panel. Response time is rated at 0.02 ms (GTG), and the panel carries VESA ClearMR 21000 certification, indicating very low motion blur even at extreme refresh rates. Adaptive-Sync and NVIDIA G-SYNC compatibility are supported, helping maintain smooth gameplay with reduced tearing.
Color performance remains strong despite the focus on speed. The monitor supports native 10-bit color and covers up to 99.5% of the DCI-P3 color space, with factory calibration targeting an average Delta E below 2 for accurate color output.
The Q27G4KDP shares its core panel with the AGON Pro AGP277QKD but shifts toward a simpler design and lower expected pricing. AOC removes the RGB lighting found on the earlier model and introduces a dual-fork stand. Color accuracy targets are slightly relaxed compared to the flagship model, moving from Delta E below 1 to below 2.
Gaming-focused features are built directly into the monitor. These include Dark Field Control for improved visibility in shadowed areas, crosshair overlays, dynamic reticle options, FPS and RTS presets, and a real-time frame counter. These tools allow quick adjustments without leaving gameplay.
Connectivity includes DisplayPort 2.1 and two HDMI 2.1 ports, along with USB 3.2 Gen1 ports and audio output. The monitor also supports Picture-in-Picture and Picture-by-Picture modes for handling multiple input sources at once, and AOC’s G-Menu software provides deeper customization options.

The stand supports height, tilt, swivel, and pivot adjustments, allowing flexible positioning for different desk setups.
Compared to most gaming monitors that peak at 360Hz or 500Hz, the Q27G4KDP moves into a new performance tier. Dual-mode panels are becoming more common, but very few combine QHD 540Hz with a 720Hz mode in one display. This positions the monitor directly for competitive esports players who prioritize motion clarity above all else.
Pricing has not been officially confirmed yet, but it is expected to come in below the AGON Pro AGP277QKD, which is currently listed at 7,999 yuan, making it a more accessible option in the ultra-high refresh OLED category.
