Palit Launches GeForce RTX 5080 Infinity 3 with Triple-Fan Blackwell Cooler

Palit has officially launched the GeForce RTX 5080 Infinity 3 series, a new custom Geforce RTX 5080 graphics card lineup with a triple-fan cooling system, 16GB GDDR7 memory, and an all-black design. The new series includes the standard RTX 5080 Infinity 3 and the factory-overclocked RTX 5080 Infinity 3 OC. Both cards are based on NVIDIA’s GB203 Blackwell GPU and use 30 Gbps GDDR7 memory across a 256-bit memory bus.

The Infinity 3 series focuses on cooling and cleaner styling instead of heavy RGB lighting and oversized gaming aesthetics. Official product images show a black shroud with minimal branding and no visible lighting effects. Palit says the design is built around steady airflow and quieter operation during long gaming and creator workloads.

The cards use Palit’s TurboFan 4.0 cooling system along with composite heat pipes. According to the company, the cooler improves thermal and acoustic performance by up to 33%, while the heat pipe structure improves heat transfer efficiency by up to 32% compared to earlier designs. These figures are based on Palit’s internal testing and have not yet been independently verified.

Many recent RTX 5080 partner cards have moved toward thicker coolers and RGB-heavy designs, but there is also growing demand for cleaner workstation-style graphics cards among creators and users building simpler PC setups. The Infinity 3 series fits more into that category.

Palit’s GameRock models usually target buyers looking for aggressive styling and heavier factory overclocks. The Infinity 3 lineup takes a more restrained approach with smaller clock increases and a simpler appearance.

The factory-overclocked RTX 5080 Infinity 3 OC boosts up to 2625 MHz, while the standard model boosts up to 2617 MHz. The difference between the two cards is small, suggesting the focus is more on stable cooling and lower noise levels than maximum factory overclocking.

Current-generation RTX 5080 cards are handling more demanding workloads than earlier GPU generations. Along with gaming, many users also use these GPUs for video editing, 3D rendering, AI tools, and streaming. Faster GDDR7 memory also adds more thermal pressure during long workloads, which is one reason many Blackwell partner cards now use larger cooling systems.

The Infinity 3 series uses a 2.8-slot cooler and measures 331.9 mm long, 127.1 mm wide, and 56.8 mm thick. The card is still large despite its cleaner appearance, so users with compact mid-tower cases may need to check radiator and front clearance before installation.

Palit says TurboFan 4.0 takes inspiration from jet engine aerodynamics. The fan blades use winglet structures and rear grooves designed to improve airflow stability while reducing drag noise. The composite heat pipe system combines grooved channels with sintered powder structures to improve coolant movement and heat transfer.

The cards also support modern display connectivity with one HDMI 2.1b port and three DisplayPort 2.1b outputs. Both models use a PCIe 5.0 x16 interface and a single 16-pin power connector.

Palit did not publish CUDA core counts, though both cards use standard RTX 5080 GPU configurations.

The company also has not confirmed pricing, global availability, total board power figures, vapor chamber usage, dual BIOS support, or bundled GPU support brackets.

The launch follows recent statements from Palit regarding the future of the GALAX, KFA2, and HOF brands. The company said those brands remain under direct Palit Group management and will continue following the same GPU roadmap moving forward.

Independent testing will still be important for evaluating real-world temperatures, fan noise, VRAM thermals, and sustained boost performance. Those results will determine how the Infinity 3 compares against other RTX 5080 partner cards already entering the market.
