Cherry XTRFY has introduced the K33 Compact Wireless, a new 75% gaming keyboard featuring tri-mode connectivity, IP54 dust and water resistance, 1000Hz wireless polling, and Cherry’s “mem-chanical” switch design. The keyboard focuses on compact gaming setups with quieter typing and lower pricing than most wireless mechanical gaming keyboards currently on the market.
The K33 Compact Wireless features an 84-key layout with dedicated arrow keys and function controls in a smaller footprint than full-size gaming keyboards, matching compact trends seen in the Dareu FK98 keyboard. Cherry keeps most everyday keys intact instead of removing large sections of the layout like many 60% boards. The US version ships with an 83-key layout variant.
Instead of full mechanical switches, Cherry combines membrane hardware with a switch structure designed to imitate mechanical keyboard feedback, while the Dareu A98 Pro uses magnetic switch hardware. Cherry describes the setup as “mem-chanical,” with quieter key presses and more tactile response than standard membrane keyboards.
The K33 Compact Wireless supports low-latency 2.4GHz wireless through the included USB dongle, Bluetooth pairing for multiple devices, and wired USB-C connectivity found in the Epomaker Luma100. Cherry also lists up to 1000Hz polling in wireless mode for faster response during gaming sessions.
The keyboard supports both Windows and macOS layouts directly from onboard shortcut controls. Cherry also includes quick-access controls for media playback, RGB lighting, wireless modes, and operating system switching.

It comes with IP54-rated protection against dust buildup and water splashes, a feature still uncommon in lower-priced wireless gaming keyboards including the Razer Huntsman Signature Edition. The added protection helps reduce damage from accidental spills and daily wear.
RGB lighting remains part of the package with seven built-in lighting effects together with a light guide layer for more even illumination across the keyboard.
The K33 Compact Wireless weighs around 1.39 lbs (630 g) and measures 312 × 125 × 36 mm. The smaller layout leaves more room for wider mouse movement, especially in FPS games that rely on lower mouse sensitivity settings.
Cherry ships the keyboard with a detachable 1.5-meter USB-C to USB-A cable with TPE coating for charging and wired operation. The K33 Compact Wireless is available in both black and white color options through Cherry’s online store.
Cherry currently lists the K33 Compact Wireless at $59.99 through its official US store. IT Home also notes regional pricing equivalent to roughly $49.99 in some markets depending on local availability.
