Iqunix Brings Ghost in the Shell EV63 Gaming Keyboards With Keytok Nova Magnetic Switches

Iqunix introduced Ghost in the Shell editions of its EV63 Hall effect gaming keyboard with Keytok Nova magnetic switches, CNC-machined aluminum construction, and custom cyberpunk artwork tied to the upcoming anime adaptation premiering in July. The collaboration arrives in two versions called Shell Core and Cyber Blue, both built around the company’s enthusiast-focused EV63 platform instead of simplified collector-oriented hardware.

The two keyboards receive extensive visual redesigns compared with the standard EV63 lineup. Iqunix reworked the anodized aluminum chassis, custom keycaps, legends, translucent modifier keys, and bottom plate around Ghost in the Shell-inspired graphics and interface styling. The translucent modifier keys carry design elements pulled directly from the anime’s futuristic UI aesthetic, while the keycaps feature a retro-digital font style matching the cyberpunk theme.

The underside of the keyboard receives extra attention as well. Iqunix added a laser-engraved illustration of the anime’s main character onto the bottom plate, giving the boards a much stronger collector appeal than most anime-themed gaming keyboards that rely only on printed keycaps or branded packaging.

The keyboard features a CNC aluminum case, aluminum mounting plate, and tray-mount layout compatible with GH60-style aftermarket cases, placing it closer to enthusiast custom keyboards than mainstream gaming boards. Compatibility with GH60 layouts puts the EV63 in the same enthusiast segment as the Wooting 60HE and 60HE v2, both of which remain popular among Hall effect keyboard enthusiasts.

The Ghost in the Shell editions ship with Keytok Nova magnetic switches instead of the standard switch configuration found on the regular EV63 lineup. The linear switches carry a lightweight 35–48 gf operating force with 3.4 mm total travel and have already gained attention in enthusiast circles for their smoother keystroke feel and deeper sound profile.

Keytok’s Nova switches rely on a floating magnet structure similar to newer dual-drive Hall effect switch designs entering the market. Iqunix claims the floating structure improves actuation consistency while producing a cleaner top-out sound during rapid key presses and gaming input.

The EV63 joins a growing group of Hall effect keyboards built around rapid trigger support, adjustable actuation, and analog-style key detection aimed at competitive gaming. Boards including the Wooting 60HE helped push magnetic switch keyboards into the mainstream enthusiast market, and more manufacturers are now moving toward Hall effect hardware for esports-focused designs.

Ghost in the Shell remains one of the most recognizable cyberpunk franchises connected to futuristic technology culture, hacking themes, and retro-digital interface design. The visual direction of the anime fits naturally with the styling already popular across enthusiast keyboard communities, especially among custom keyboard builders focused on industrial and cyberpunk-inspired setups.

Iqunix has not confirmed pricing or a final release schedule for the Ghost in the Shell EV63 keyboards yet. Availability is expected ahead of the anime’s July premiere as part of the broader promotional rollout surrounding the new adaptation.
