ASRock Marks 10 Years of Taichi With Special X870E and Z890 Motherboards

ASRock is celebrating the 10th anniversary of its Taichi lineup at Computex 2026 with two special motherboards built for AMD and Intel users. The company is showing the X870E Taichi 10th Anniversary and Z890 Taichi 10th Anniversary, giving visitors a closer look at commemorative versions of two of its best-known enthusiast boards.

The anniversary boards are part of a larger Taichi celebration that extends across several hardware categories. ASRock has already confirmed special-edition graphics cards, power supplies, monitors, and liquid coolers, but the motherboards are getting much of the attention at the company’s booth.

The X870E Taichi 10th Anniversary is based on the current X870E Taichi motherboard for AMD’s AM5 platform. Information from Computex points to a powerful 24+2+1 phase VRM design with 110A power stages. The board comes with 10 Gigabit Ethernet, USB4 connectivity, and an ESS Sabre DAC for audio. Reports from the show floor further indicate a 64MB BIOS ROM, providing additional space for future firmware updates and upcoming processor support.

ASRock has kept the familiar Taichi look while adding anniversary-themed details. The design remains clean and premium without excessive styling, something that has helped the Taichi family stand out for years.

Alongside the AMD model, ASRock is displaying the Z890 Taichi 10th Anniversary for Intel Core Ultra 200 series processors. The board is built around Intel’s LGA1851 platform and features a 20-phase VCore power design along with 5 Gigabit Ethernet connectivity.

Like the X870E version, the Z890 model focuses on premium hardware while carrying the special anniversary branding. The two boards share a similar appearance and were created specifically to mark a decade of the Taichi name.

ASRock is referring to both motherboards as concept models. The company has not announced pricing, availability, or plans for a retail release, which means they may remain showcase pieces for now.

That uncertainty makes them even more interesting for longtime Taichi fans visiting Computex. While the hardware looks close to a finished product, ASRock is not yet confirming whether either board will eventually make its way to store shelves.

The Taichi brand first arrived with the X99 Taichi motherboard and gradually became one of ASRock’s most recognizable enthusiast product families. Ten years later, these anniversary editions serve as a celebration of that journey while showcasing the company’s latest AMD and Intel desktop platforms.
