HP and Ferrari have unveiled a limited-edition AI PC ahead of the Monaco Grand Prix, with production capped at 4,999 individually numbered units worldwide. The HP Limited Edition Scuderia Ferrari AI PC will go on sale in the United States on June 12 with a starting price of $5,599.
The project was developed over nearly two years through a collaboration between Ferrari Design Studio and HP’s industrial design and engineering teams. According to the companies, the objective was to create a notebook shaped by Ferrari’s design principles rather than a standard laptop carrying automotive branding.
Ferrari-Inspired Design and Materials
Ferrari’s influence is visible throughout the notebook. The CNC-machined aluminum chassis is finished in Rosso Magma, a metallic red color associated with Ferrari road cars. HP says the enclosure undergoes zirconium bead blasting before the final coating is applied, creating a finish that changes appearance under different lighting conditions.

The underside combines carbon fiber with transparent Corning Gorilla Glass, exposing portions of the internal structure and cooling system. HP describes the approach as “functional transparency,” drawing inspiration from the way Ferrari vehicles showcase key engineering components.
Each notebook also ships with a Poltrona Frau leather sleeve produced by the same Italian supplier used for Ferrari interiors.
Intel Core Ultra X7 and 180 TOPS of AI Performance
Power comes from Intel’s Core Ultra X7 358H processor paired with Intel Arc B390 graphics. HP rates the platform at up to 180 TOPS of combined AI performance.
A 3K Tandem OLED+ touchscreen serves as the display, using dual-layer OLED technology designed to improve brightness, efficiency, and image quality compared to conventional OLED panels.
Ferrari-Themed User Experience
HP redesigned several parts of the notebook specifically for this project. The palm rest uses a full-glass construction and integrates a haptic touchpad whose outline illuminates when touched. HP says the layout was inspired by Ferrari’s emphasis on keeping controls visible without adding unnecessary visual complexity.
The notebook also includes Ferrari-themed wallpapers and four customizable RGB keyboard lighting animations. Users can personalize the visual experience with color combinations and effects inspired by Ferrari vehicle controls.
Cooling System Inspired by Automotive Aerodynamics
More than 2,000 calibrated micro-perforations are integrated into the glass structure and work alongside a three-dimensional louvered vent system. HP says the airflow design was developed using parametric modeling techniques to improve cooling efficiency while maintaining the notebook’s appearance.

During unboxing, the presentation lifts the notebook automatically from the box, an element HP describes as part of the overall ownership experience.
HP has confirmed availability in several international markets, including Australia, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Spain, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom.
