Framework Laptop 13 Pro Intel Mainboard Pre-Orders Start at $449

Framework’s Intel Core Ultra Series 3 mainboards for the Laptop 13 Pro are now available for pre-order starting at $449, with optional LPCAMM2 memory bundles. Standalone kits under Batch 15 are scheduled to ship in October, while the company has started shipping the first batch of Core Ultra Series 3 mainboards to early buyers.

Because retail availability for LPCAMM2 memory is still limited, Framework allows buyers to include memory modules directly when ordering a mainboard. The standalone Intel Core Ultra 5 325 version costs $449, whereas the higher-end Core Ultra X7 358H edition costs $799. To configure the mainboard with memory, buyers can select 16GB for $239, 32GB for $439, or 64GB for $849.

With these memory configurations, the lowest price for a combined mainboard and RAM bundle starts at $688. The highest configuration pairs the Intel Core Ultra X7 358H with 64GB of RAM for $1,648. These mainboard kits allow users to upgrade existing Framework Laptop 13 models or build custom configurations from scratch.

Intel’s Core Ultra Series 3 processors, based on the Panther Lake architecture, include up to four Performance cores, eight Efficient cores, and four Low Power Efficient cores. The Core Ultra X7 358H option supports integrated Intel Arc B390 graphics for demanding visual workloads. The flagship Core Ultra X9 mainboard version has already sold out, and shipping delays for completed Laptop 13 Pro laptops continue due to display and touchpad fixes.
