MSI’s GeForce RTX 3060 Ventus 2X 12GB is back on Newegg with a $329.99 price tag, putting NVIDIA’s revived Ampere graphics card back on US retail shelves at the same price it carried when it debuted in 2021. The listing follows recent availability in China and Germany, making the United States the latest market to receive fresh inventory. The card is sold and shipped directly by Newegg with free shipping and a 30-day return policy.
The return of the RTX 3060 is unusual because graphics cards rarely return to retail several years after their original debut. New listings from MSI, ASUS, GALAX, Colorful, and Gigabyte indicate that NVIDIA’s board partners have restarted production, giving buyers another chance to purchase a brand-new RTX 3060 instead of relying on used hardware.
MSI continues with its familiar Ventus 2X OC design. The card features 3,584 CUDA cores, 12GB of GDDR6 memory connected through a 192-bit memory interface, and boost clocks reaching up to 1,807MHz. Power comes through a single 8-pin PCIe connector with a 170W board power rating. Display connectivity consists of one HDMI 2.1 port and three DisplayPort 1.4 outputs, supporting up to four monitors.
Cooling remains unchanged from the earlier Ventus model. Two TORX Fan 3.0 fans push air through a large aluminum heatsink to keep temperatures under control during long gaming sessions. MSI Afterburner is available for hardware monitoring, custom fan curves, voltage adjustment, and OC Scanner automatic tuning.
The RTX 3060 still stands out because of its 12GB memory capacity. Many newer graphics cards in the same price range ship with 8GB of VRAM, while the RTX 3060 offers additional headroom for high-resolution texture packs, video editing, 3D rendering, AI workloads running locally, and other applications that benefit from larger graphics memory.
Buyers looking mainly at gaming performance now have another option close in price. NVIDIA’s GeForce RTX 5060 is available from around $349 at several retailers. The newer card delivers higher frame rates in modern games, supports DLSS 4 and Multi Frame Generation, switches to faster GDDR7 memory, and operates with a lower 145W power rating.

The RTX 3060 still fills a different role. Buyers who specifically need 12GB of VRAM without moving into more expensive graphics cards now have another retail option. The larger memory capacity remains useful for some creative applications, local AI models, and workloads where available VRAM matters more than peak gaming performance.

There is another reason the RTX 3060 has returned. Ampere GPUs are manufactured on Samsung’s mature 8nm process, while newer production capacity continues to focus on current-generation graphics processors and AI hardware. Existing board designs and cooling hardware can return to production with very few changes, allowing partners to build additional inventory without redesigning the card.
The MSI GeForce RTX 3060 Ventus 2X 12GB is available now through Newegg for $329.99. Buyers interested in the latest gaming features may find better value by spending slightly more on an RTX 5060, while those searching for a new NVIDIA graphics card with 12GB of VRAM once again have an official retail choice in the United States.
