Razer Hammerhead V3 X HyperSpeed Wireless Earbuds Launched

Razer has launched the new Hammerhead V3 X HyperSpeed wireless gaming earbuds in dedicated Xbox and PlayStation editions. The new wireless models aim to provide low-latency gaming audio for console players and everyday mobile users. Attentive buyers can find both configurations on Razer’s official online store starting today.

The earbuds support both 2.4 GHz wireless and Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity to connect to different gaming devices. The included HyperSpeed Case doubles as a wireless receiver and charger to keep the audio connection stable. Players can also utilize the built-in SmartSwitch to jump between phone calls and gameplay audio without delay.

The 2.4 GHz receiver helps prevent latency issues during fast-paced matches, providing low-latency audio response similar to the speed performance of new Keychron wireless keyboards. Using Bluetooth 5.3 ensures stable, power-efficient connections when paired with mobile devices, making them a flexible accessory alongside other modern Epomaker gaming peripherals. The earbuds also has touch-sensitive controls on the sides to adjust volume or answer calls quickly.

An IPX4 water-resistant rating safeguards the hardware against sweat and minor splashes during outdoor use. The audio drivers support spatial audio configurations to help gamers locate sound directions during competitive matches. These audio enhancements include Windows Sonic on Xbox, 3D Audio on PlayStation, and THX Spatial Audio on PC.

In terms of battery runtime, the earbuds provide up to 10 hours of playback on a single charge. The charging case adds another 25 hours of battery capacity, bringing the total playback time up to 35 hours. This battery capacity ensures that players can use the audio hardware throughout the day without needing a wall plug.

The multi-platform compatibility also allows connection to handhelds, PCs, and laptops. Razer has not announced the official pricing details for these custom console models on its product website. Reviewers expect the product to hit global retail shelves later this month.
