ATTACK SHARK Announces RS6 ULTRA Gaming Mouse With Hot-Swappable Batteries

Wireless gaming mice usually need a charging cable once the battery runs out. The ATTACK SHARK RS6 ULTRA comes with two magnetic batteries instead. One powers the mouse while the other charges inside the bundled 8K wireless receiver, so players can swap batteries in a few seconds and continue playing wirelessly.

The batteries attach with magnetic alignment and gold-plated contacts. There is no battery door to remove or locking clip to open before replacing them. Since the batteries are replaceable, owners can change only the battery if its capacity drops after years of use instead of replacing the entire mouse.

The RS6 ULTRA offers five sensor positions. Players can move the sensor forward or backward to match different grip styles and hand sizes. That gives users another way to fine-tune how the mouse responds during quick flicks, tracking, and fast movements.

Power comes from a customized PixArt PAW3955MAX optical sensor paired with Nordic Semiconductor’s nRF54L15 wireless MCU. The mouse supports up to 52,000 DPI, 8,000Hz polling, 850 IPS tracking speed, 75G acceleration, five lift-off distance settings, and single-DPI adjustment for precise sensitivity changes.

ATTACK SHARK rates the RS6 ULTRA for up to 800 hours of battery life at a 1,000Hz polling rate. The spare battery continues charging inside the receiver while the mouse stays in use, reducing the need to stop for long charging sessions.

The company claims button latency below 0.168 milliseconds in 8K mode. The receiver has an extended antenna and built-in LEDs that display battery level, polling rate, and connection status. It serves as both the wireless receiver and the charging dock for the spare battery.

The shell combines carbon fiber with a hybrid injection-molded structure and a ventilated design to keep weight low. ATTACK SHARK has added a glass-like surface coating to reduce discomfort from perspiration during long gaming sessions. A CNC-machined metal scroll wheel and anodized metal components complete the design.

ATTACK SHARK mentions VALORANT, Counter-Strike 2, and Apex Legends when introducing the RS6 ULTRA. Few lightweight wireless gaming mice currently combine adjustable sensor placement with a hot-swappable battery, making this one of its most distinctive features alongside the high-end sensor and 8K wireless support.

ATTACK SHARK has not announced pricing or availability yet. More information is expected before the RS6 ULTRA reaches retailers.
