HKC says it will unveil a gaming monitor with a claimed refresh rate of up to 1300Hz at ChinaJoy 2026. If confirmed, it would set a new refresh-rate record for consumer gaming monitors. The display will headline the company’s lineup at the Shanghai event, running from July 31 to August 3, alongside several gaming and ultrawide models.
The company has not released the monitor’s full specifications but describes it as a tri-mode display. Tri-mode monitors typically let users switch between different resolution and refresh-rate combinations, making higher refresh rates available at lower resolutions. HKC has yet to confirm the available modes, screen size, panel type, or supported resolutions.
A 1300Hz refresh rate would put the monitor in a class of its own, far beyond the 540Hz to 600Hz limit of today’s fastest gaming displays. At that speed, the screen refreshes every 0.77 milliseconds, delivering smoother motion and lower input latency during fast-paced gameplay. Reaching frame rates high enough to match a 1300Hz display, however, will be difficult for most PCs. As a result, the monitor is likely to show its biggest advantage in lightweight esports games that can push extremely high frame rates.
HKC will display the ANTGAMER ANT25ASF, a monitor intended for competitive esports players, in addition to the flagship model. It has a native 1000Hz Fast TN panel with a GTG reaction time of 0.8 ms. In order to emphasise its emphasis on ultra-high refresh-rate gaming, the business initially showcased the display at Computex 2026.
The Apex 32U165VD, a 31.4-inch 4K RGB Mini LED monitor with dual refresh-rate options, will also be on exhibit. Further details about this model have not been disclosed by HKC.
The Shield C83U60, an 83.4-inch ultrawide monitor with a 11520 × 2160 (12K) resolution, a 60Hz refresh rate, and an R1000 curved panel, is another model in the portfolio. Additionally, HKC intends to display ultrawide displays in sizes of 57.1 inches, 43.8 inches, and 39.7 inches; however, particular details have not yet been disclosed.
HKC has not revealed pricing, launch dates, or regional availability for any of the new monitors. ChinaJoy 2026 will provide the first detailed look at the lineup and show whether the company’s claimed 1300Hz gaming monitor can deliver on its headline specification.
