Acer released it’s the Swift Go 16 (SFG16-A71), starting at $1,149 with AMD Ryzen AI 400 processors and scaling up to a Ryzen AI 9 465 configuration with 32GB memory. The pricing places it firmly in the mid-range segment, while still offering higher RAM capacity than many laptops in this range.
The lineup includes Ryzen AI 7 445 and Ryzen AI 9 465 processors, as detailed in AMD’s AMD Ryzen AI roadmap. The Ryzen AI 9 variant delivers roughly 20% higher performance in benchmarks compared to the Ryzen AI 7 model. Both configurations rely on integrated Radeon graphics, with the top model featuring Radeon 880M, part of the latest AMD integrated GPU lineup.
The display is a 16-inch IPS panel with 1920×1200 resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate, while higher refresh panels are featured in Xiaomi Redmi G25 2026 gaming monitor. Brightness is rated at 350 nits with full sRGB coverage and a matte finish. The absence of an OLED option stands out, especially as some similarly priced laptops now offer higher-end panels.
Memory is soldered LPDDR5X, with configurations offering 16GB or 32GB. Since it is not upgradeable, buyers need to choose capacity at purchase. At this price level, a 32GB option remains uncommon, which gives the higher-end configuration a clear advantage.
Storage is fixed at 1TB PCIe Gen4 SSD across all variants.
The chassis measures 355.5 × 251.2 × 15.9 mm and weighs about 3.53 lbs (1.6 kg). Acer offers the laptop in an Obsidian Black finish with a slim profile.
Battery capacity is 65Wh, which is smaller than the Intel-based Swift Go models and may affect runtime under heavier workloads. Charging is handled through a 100W adapter.
Connectivity includes USB-C, USB-A, HDMI, and Ethernet. Full port details remain limited, though these core options are confirmed. Wireless support includes Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth.

Pricing is split across configurations:
- Ryzen AI 7 445, 16GB RAM, 1TB SSD — $1,149
- Ryzen AI 9 465, 32GB RAM, 1TB SSD — $1,499 (Best Buy) / $1,599 (Acer store)
The Swift Go 16 (SFG16-A71) is currently available through Acer and select retailers.
The combination of Ryzen AI processors and a 32GB memory option at this price gives the Swift Go 16 strong value, even with trade-offs such as soldered RAM and an IPS display.
