AGON PRO AGP277QKDC Monitor Combines Tandem WOLED with 720Hz Dual-Mode

The upcoming AGON PRO AGP277QKDC gaming monitor kicks off the AGON 7 series with dual-mode refresh rates up to 720 Hz and a stacked Tandem WOLED panel. The flat 27-inch (26.5-inch actual) display uses a fourth-generation LG primary RGB Tandem WOLED panel to improve light efficiency and durability. This new monitor is geared toward competitive esports players looking for extreme speed and visual precision.

Gamers can choose between two operational settings depending on their performance requirements. The native mode runs at QHD (2560 x 1440) resolution with a 540 Hz refresh rate for sharp visual clarity in standard play. Dropping the resolution down to 720p (1280 x 720) activates a secondary mode that boosts the refresh rate to an extreme 720 Hz.

This dual-mode capability is similar to other high-speed options in the brand’s gaming catalog, such as the AGON PRO AGP346UCSD. The tandem panel design stacks multiple emissive layers to distribute the overall workload, which improves long-term durability and helps prevent panel degradation. The technology also allows the monitor to reach a peak HDR brightness of 1,500 nits.

The display supports a 10-bit color depth covering 99.5% of the DCI-P3 color gamut.

To back up these reliability improvements, the display is covered by a three-year manufacturer warranty that includes OLED burn-in protection. AOC also provides a suite of OLED maintenance protocols to preserve brightness and color accuracy. Gamers can expect a fast 0.03 ms gray-to-gray response time, NVIDIA G-Sync Compatibility, and VESA DisplayHDR True Black 500 certification.

For connection options, the display includes one DisplayPort 2.1 input with UHBR20 bandwidth support alongside two HDMI 2.1 ports. A USB-C port provides 65-watt power delivery, video input, and data transfer through a single cable, while a built-in KVM switch allows control over two connected PCs. The physical chassis uses a symmetric stand base to save desktop space, and it includes two integrated 5-watt speakers, a headset holder, and adjustable ergonomics.

The monitor is expected to arrive in European markets in June 2026 for 849 Euros, which is approximately $920 USD. UK customers will see the monitor arrive in September 2026 for 699 British Pounds, or roughly $890 USD.
