Honor MagicBook 16 (2026) Sells Out Fast With 92Wh Battery, 180Hz 2.5K Display

Honor’s MagicBook 16 (2026) saw strong early demand in China, with the Core Ultra X7 358H variant going out of stock within minutes after the first sale opened, following its earlier announcement.

A 92Wh battery is included, which is larger than what most 16-inch laptops offer. Honor rates battery life at up to 15.3 hours in office usage tests. Fast charging is supported, reaching about 51% in 30 minutes and full charge in around 67 minutes under lab conditions.

The display uses a 16-inch panel with a 2560 × 1600 resolution and a 16:10 aspect ratio, while the smaller Honor MagicBook 14 (2026) uses a higher-resolution 2.8K panel.. Refresh rate goes up to 180Hz, with a 60Hz mode available. Brightness reaches 500 nits, and color coverage is listed at 100% sRGB. The panel also includes TÜV-certified low blue light and flicker-free support for long sessions.

Processor options cover Core Ultra 5 336H, Ultra 5 338H, and Ultra X7 358H, expanding on configurations also seen in Honor’s recent high-performance laptop lineup. Higher configurations pair with Intel Arc B370 or B390 graphics. The system can reach up to 88W in performance mode, depending on configuration and workload.

Memory supports up to 32GB LPDDR5X. Storage uses SSD configurations with dual M.2 2280 slots, allowing upgrades. This setup gives more flexibility compared to single-slot designs in this segment.
