Lenovo ThinkCentre Neo 50q Gen 6 Mini PC Launched

Lenovo has refreshed its ThinkCentre Neo 50q Gen 6 Tiny PC in the United States with Intel Lunar Lake processors, starting at $1,179 USD (about 8,400 Yuan / 9,200 Hong Kong Dollars). The Lunar Lake upgrade offers a new alternative to the previous model that used Qualcomm’s Snapdragon X1 Elite processor. Buyers can purchase the ultra-compact mini PC directly from Lenovo’s online store.

The tiny PC fits into a small one-liter metal chassis for productivity and local artificial intelligence workloads. It has two configuration options that utilize different processors from the Intel Lunar Lake family. Both options include 16GB of LPDDR5X-8533 memory soldered directly onto the mainboard.

Users who need more processing power can upgrade to the Core Ultra 7 256V model for $1,619 USD (about 11,500 Yuan / 12,600 Hong Kong Dollars). The Core Ultra 7 option offers higher clock speeds, a faster 48 TOPS NPU, and more capable Intel Arc 140V graphics.

In addition to the CPU changes, the Core Ultra 7 version doubles the internal storage capacity from a 512GB PCIe Gen4 SSD to a larger 1TB drive. Both configurations utilize discrete Trusted Platform Module 2.0 and Smart USB Protection to prevent unauthorized firmware access.

For physical connections, the front panel includes one USB-C port, one USB-A port, and an audio jack. The back panel has four additional USB-A ports, an HDMI 2.1 connection, a DisplayPort 1.4 output, and a Gigabit Ethernet port. The hardware also supports Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.1 for local wireless network access.

The mini PC measures 1.44 × 7.05 × 7.2 inches (about 36.5 × 179 × 183 mm) and weighs 5.27 lbs (about 2.4 kg). Buyers can customize their workspace setup using the included vertical stand to mount the desktop vertically on a desk.
