Lenovo Yoga 7i Aura Edition Goes on Sale With Intel Panther Lake

Lenovo has officially begun selling its new Yoga 7i Aura Edition 2-in-1 laptops, making it one of the first widely available consumer laptops powered by Intel’s next-generation Panther Lake platform. The refreshed lineup replaces the Yoga 7i Gen 10 series and is now available in 14-inch and 16-inch sizes across select European markets and the UK.

The Yoga 7i Aura Edition continues Lenovo’s familiar 360-degree convertible design, allowing users to switch between laptop, tablet, tent, and stand modes. Built around a premium aluminium chassis, the new models are aimed at professionals, students, and creators seeking a high-end Windows 2-in-1 with next-gen efficiency and AI-focused hardware.

This new lineup comes with Intel’s Core Ultra 7 355 processor, based on the Panther Lake architecture. Compared to previous Yoga models built on Lunar Lake, Panther Lake prioritises higher power efficiency, improved AI acceleration, and sustained performance, positioning the Yoga 7i Aura Edition as a future-ready system for upcoming Windows AI and Copilot-driven features.

Display quality is a major highlight of the new models. Both the 14-inch and 16-inch variants ship with OLED touch displays as standard. The base configuration includes a 1920 × 1200 (1200p) OLED panel with a 60 Hz refresh rate, while the 14-inch model can be configured with a sharper 2.8K (1800p) OLED display offering a 120 Hz refresh rate and up to 1,100 nits peak HDR brightness, making it well-suited for HDR media, creative workflows, and color-accurate content creation.

In terms of hardware configuration, Lenovo offers up to 32 GB of LPDDR5X-7467 RAM and up to 1 TB of SSD storage. While the memory is soldered and not user-upgradeable, the high-speed LPDDR5X setup improves efficiency, responsiveness, and multitasking performance. Powering the system is a 70 Wh battery, which is relatively large for a convertible laptop and designed to support extended workdays away from the charger.

Connectivity and security have also been updated. The Yoga 7i Aura Edition features a 5 MP webcam with infrared support for Windows Hello facial recognition, along with a physical privacy shutter. Wireless connectivity features Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4, while Thunderbolt 4 ports facilitate fast data transfers, support for external GPUs, and multi-display setups.

Pricing varies by region. In the UK, the Yoga 7i Aura Edition starts at approximately £1,099, with higher-end configurations priced slightly above this depending on screen size and display options. In the Eurozone, the 14-inch model starts at around €1,369, while the 16-inch variant is priced marginally higher. Lenovo has confirmed that shipping begins later this month through its official online store and select retail partners.

This launch is significant as it brings Intel Panther Lake processors into a mainstream, premium convertible laptop rather than a limited or experimental device. By combining AI-ready Intel hardware, high-quality OLED displays, and a versatile 2-in-1 design, Lenovo positions the Yoga 7i Aura Edition as a compelling upgrade for users moving from older Yoga models or traditional clamshell laptops in 2026 and beyond.
