Luckfox has introduced its display lineup with two 16-inch portable touch monitors built around 16:10 IPS panels. The new models include a 4K (3840 × 2400) 120Hz version and a 2K (2560 × 1600) 165Hz variant, targeting users who want either higher pixel density or smoother otion in a compact secondary screen.
Unlike many 16-inch portable displays that use a 16:9 format, both models adopt a taller 16:10 aspect ratio. The additional vertical space improves document editing, coding workflows, and multi-window productivity compared to standard 1920 × 1080 portable monitors.
The 4K model delivers 3840 × 2400 resolution, translating to roughly 283 pixels per inch on a 16-inch panel. That density is noticeably sharper than most 1080p or 1440p portable monitors and benefits text clarity and UI scaling. Brightness is rated at 350 cd/m² with a 120Hz refresh rate and 100% sRGB color coverage.
The 2K version uses a 2560 × 1600 panel at approximately 188 pixels per inch and increases refresh rate to 165Hz while maintaining 100% sRGB coverage. In comparison, the Arzopa G1 Game portable monitor tops out at 144Hz, while models in the ASUS ZenScreen MB16 series typically operate at 60Hz. By offering 165Hz at this size and resolution, Luckfox positions the 2K variant above many mainstream portable gaming displays in terms of refresh rate.

Both monitors support HDR playback, 178-degree viewing angles, and 10-point capacitive touch through a toughened 6H glass layer with optical bonding. Optical bonding reduces the air gap between the LCD and glass, which can improve perceived contrast and minimize internal reflections compared to non-bonded portable screens.
Connectivity includes Mini HDMI and full-featured USB Type-C for display input, plus a USB touch interface and 3.5 mm audio output. Built-in speakers are included, and both models are powered via USB-C with support for 20W Power Delivery. Neither monitor includes an internal battery, so external power is required during use.
The CNC-machined enclosure supports VESA 75 mm mounting, a feature not commonly found in ultra-portable displays. A detachable magnetic protective case is included and doubles as a two-angle stand.

The 4K model weighs 2.98 lbs (1.35 kg), while the 2K version weighs 3.33 lbs (1.51 kg). Both are compatible with USB-C laptops, smartphones that support display output, and development boards such as Raspberry Pi and NVIDIA Jetson, making them flexible options for portable gaming setups, productivity workstations, or embedded development environments.

For buyers choosing between the two, the decision centers on priorities. The 4K 120Hz model favors maximum sharpness and workspace. The 2K 165Hz version emphasizes smoother motion and broader accessibility for gaming or high-refresh secondary use.
Competing 27-inch 240Hz IPS monitors such as the ASUS TUF Gaming VG279QM, MSI G274QPX, and Acer Nitro XV272U variants typically retail closer to the $180–$220 range, depending on sales and configuration.
The 4K model is listed at $319.99, while the 2K 165Hz variant is priced at $189.99, with both currently available through Luckfox.
