MSI has announced that its EdgeXpert AI Supercomputer is now supported by professional rackmount solutions from Racknex. The Racknex UM-MSI-201 Rack Mount Kit provides a flexible, standardized deployment option for edge computing and data center workloads. Attentive enterprises can deploy the hardware in standard 19-inch (about 48 cm) rack configurations.
The device is powered by the NVIDIA Grace Blackwell (GB10) architecture. It pairs an NVIDIA Blackwell graphics processor with a 20-core ARM CPU using a high-speed memory interconnect. The supercomputer includes 128GB of LPDDR5x coherent, unified memory and supports up to 1000 AI TOPS of computational performance.

The Racknex UM-MSI-201 Rack Mount Kit supports the installation of up to two EdgeXpert units in a compact 1.66U (about 2.9 inches / 74 mm) rack space. The mounting kit includes custom device brackets, unobstructed ventilation paths, and dedicated cable management to keep wires organized. The rack integration allows enterprises to deploy their AI supercomputer resources in a standardized way.
MSI collaborated with Racknex, an Austria-based provider of rack integration solutions, to design this dedicated mounting layout. This hardware option allows organizations to scale up their on-premises AI nodes without complicating hardware management.
Deploying multiple computing nodes is helpful for industrial facilities, research labs, and smart factory settings. These environments run complex applications like digital twins, automation tools, and local generative AI models. Processing data locally improves latency and keeps sensitive business information secure inside the private network.
MSI has not confirmed retail pricing or release dates for the EdgeXpert hardware or the Racknex kit. Infrastructure watchers can find full specifications and product availability details directly on MSI’s industrial computer product page.
