Redmi G24Q Gaming Monitor Arrives for $110 With 1440p 180Hz HDR400

Xiaomi has launched the Redmi G24Q in China at 749 yuan ($110), bringing a 23.8-inch 1440p Fast IPS panel, 180Hz refresh rate, and DisplayHDR 400 support to the budget gaming monitor segment, following other recent Redmi display launches.

The display features a 2560 × 1440 resolution with 178-degree viewing angles and a slim three-sided bezel design. At 23.8 inches, the QHD panel delivers higher pixel density than larger 27-inch 1440p monitors, which can result in a sharper desktop image than many mainstream 27-inch gaming displays.

For gaming, the Redmi G24Q offers 180Hz and carries a 1ms GtG response time, placing it among the growing number of high-refresh budget monitors. AMD FreeSync support helps reduce tearing and stutter, while Dynamic OD adjusts overdrive behavior during fast scenes to improve motion clarity.

Xiaomi also includes several gaming tools, such as custom crosshair overlays, shadow enhancement for darker areas, and a night vision mode for clearer visibility in low-light scenes.

Color performance is rated at 94% DCI-P3 and 100% sRGB coverage. The panel supports 8-bit + FRC color processing and carries a Delta E value below 2, making it suitable for both gaming and everyday content work.

Peak brightness reaches 400 nits, allowing the monitor to meet VESA DisplayHDR 400 certification, a feature also appearing in newer affordable gaming panels. Eye-comfort features include TÜV Rheinland low blue light certification, DC dimming, and Xiaomi’s QingShan eye protection mode.

Connectivity includes two HDMI 2.0 ports and two DisplayPort 1.4 inputs, matching the port selection commonly found in modern gaming monitors. The stand supports height adjustment, tilt, and rotation, while VESA 75 × 75 mm wall mounting is also available. Adjustable stands are still uncommon in many low-cost gaming monitors.

The Redmi G24Q is now on sale in China through local retail channels for 749 yuan ($110). Xiaomi has not announced international availability.
