Sharkoon has expanded its SKILLER lineup with the SKILLER SGM25W Ocean, a lightweight wireless gaming mouse that keeps the same internal hardware as the standard SGM25W but adds a blue maritime-themed finish. The company lists a recommended retail price of €24.99, positioning it far below most mainstream lightweight wireless competitors.
The SKILLER SGM25W Ocean weighs 59 grams, placing it firmly in the competitive FPS category where low mass and quick flick control matter. At 59 g (0.13 lbs), it undercuts many well-known wireless esports models in price while staying close in weight. For comparison, Logitech’s G Pro X Superlight sits at roughly 63 g (0.14 lbs), while Razer’s Viper V2 Pro comes in near 58 g (0.13 lbs). Those models typically retail above $100 in the U.S., making Sharkoon’s €24.99 MSRP a major pricing contrast.
The mouse uses a PixArt PAW3311 optical sensor rated up to 12,000 DPI. According to Sharkoon’s official specifications, the PAW3311 is designed for accurate tracking and consistent control in fast-paced titles. Sharkoon – SKILLER SGM25W Ocean While it does not compete with newer 26K DPI flagship sensors, 12,000 DPI is well beyond what most competitive players actually use. Stability, lift-off behavior, and predictable tracking often matter more than headline DPI numbers in real gameplay.
Dual-mode connectivity is included. The SGM25W Ocean operates over 2.4 GHz wireless but can switch to wired mode if the battery runs low. That means uninterrupted use during charging, a feature often missing in lower-priced wireless mice. Sharkoon emphasizes this wired fallback as part of its “dual-mode” operation.
The shape is symmetrical but designed for right-handed use. Sharkoon states it is suited for claw and fingertip grips. Sharkoon – SKILLER SGM25W Ocean The compact body and low weight suggest it is built for fast aim adjustments rather than heavy palm grip control, aligning it more with tactical shooters such as Counter-Strike 2 and Valorant than with MMO-style extended macro play.
Software support allows DPI adjustments, button reassignment, and macro creation. RGB lighting is also configurable through the companion software. Sharkoon – SKILLER SGM25W Ocean These features are standard in modern gaming mice, but their inclusion at this price point strengthens its value positioning.

The Ocean edition’s primary distinction is visual. The blue wave design contrasts sharply with the typical matte black esports aesthetic and is promoted as a match for Sharkoon’s SKILLER SGK50 S3 Ultimate Rev2 keyboard bundle. Internally, however, the hardware remains identical to the standard SGM25W.
The broader significance of this launch is pricing pressure. Lightweight wireless gaming mice have traditionally occupied the $100 to $160 segment. By introducing a 59 g, dual-mode, PAW3311-based model at €24.99, Sharkoon targets entry-level and mid-range gamers who want competitive weight and wireless flexibility without premium pricing.
Availability is listed immediately at the €24.99 recommended retail price for both the standard black version and the Ocean edition. U.S. retail pricing has not yet been confirmed.
For buyers prioritizing low weight, wireless freedom, and basic competitive sensor performance over flagship branding, the SKILLER SGM25W Ocean enters the market as one of the most aggressively priced options in its class.
